Someone just handed me a fresh copy of the next issue of the UK magazine, so I thought I'd share a few features with you guys before it's even released in the shops!

This issue is all about the bad guys, so there's lots of info on Herbert, Klutzy, Protobot and Sensei's nemesis, Tusk. In fact, there's a pretty cool interview with the wicked walrus himself! Check it out:

Plus there's the usual selection of mind-bending puzzles and comical comics, plus there's a pretty 'fly' free gift for ninjas! The magazine will be hitting UK stores on May 1st.

As I've already mentioned above, it's time for you to turn your clocks forward for the change in Time Zone, to British Summer Time. Remember that you only have to turn your clock forward one hour...

...a nice advantage of time change is that you'll get an extra hour of sleep! Woohoo! Remember that many digital clocks like the ones on your computer change by themselves, you'll only have to turn it forward one hour if you have an analog clock, which is an old-style clock with hands...

Just a quick update about the My Penguin Day competition we're running in the UK! I've received looooads of brill entries so far. You guys are super creative. It's been so much fun looking through them all! I love reading about your favourite things to do on CP.

So anyway, I just wanted to write a quick reminder that the competition is ending on the 27th of January, which means there's only 1 week left for people to enter! The competition template can be downloaded HERE and the details about how to send it are written at the bottom of that sheet. All entries need to have parental permission, with the back page filled out and included with every template. Don't forget, we're looking for people to do their own drawings and write their own stories. The more creative the better!

I'll be judging all the templates with 2 other members of the UK team after the 27th, announcing the winner as soon as possible after that. I can't wait to see who wins! :)

It's been great fun meeting you guys online over the past few weeks and playing the 'PUFFLE!' game with you! As many of you discovered, the special word was 'SPROUTS'! I have to admit, it was very strange having so many people shout that at me! As promised, here's a pic of me playing with some brill penguins at the Plaza over Christmas. The team loves to hear about your favourite things to do on Club Penguin, including your fave games, costumes and places to hang out.

So we're hosting a competition where UK players can print off our special template, fill in all the blanks with writing and pictures, then send to our team in Brighton. With the help of two members of the UK team, I'll choose one winner who will receive a 12 month membership for their penguin!

The special My Penguin Day template (and the competition rules) are available to download HERE!

Here's the IMPORTANT bit: Every submission needs to include a parents' contact information (they need to fill in the box underneath all the rules) before sending. The competition ends on the 27th of January, so all templates should be sent to us before then to be entered into the competition. The address can be found at the bottom of the template. We're only accepting entries from the UK and Ireland.

The new issue of the mag is out today in the UK, which is always exciting. However, I'm personally super excited for this issue because... I'm in it! Again! So cool

So I wanted to tell you about this new game I've created with the magazine team. It works like this; if you meet me online I'll shout "PUFFLE!" and then you guys have to reply with a specific word... which you can find in the new issue of the mag!

Club Penguin Blog: News From the UK Team!

Hiya!

Do you sometimes wonder what happens in the UK Club Penguin office in Brighton? As well as working super hard looking after Club Penguin, we also do other stuff to help make the world a better place! So I thought it would be a brill idea to share some of the cool things that the UK team's been up to recently!

Love In A Box
Each year, when the festive season is approaching, the whole team goes on an outing to purchase lots of small gifts and supplies, which we then put in empty shoe boxes and send out to deprived children in Europe. This year’s event was a huge success as we filled and wrapped 53 boxes!! Everybody had such a brill time knowing we were donating to such a worthy cause. You can see my box below!

Donating Blood
5 brave members of the team did a very honourable deed last week and donated blood! I went too, even though I don’t like needles (I hope you're proud of me)! It was totally worth it though, because as well as us potentially saving a person’s life, they gave us tea and BISCUITS afterwards! :D

Preparing for Christmas
Tree? CHECK! Decorations? CHECK! A giant fake snow machine??? I wish! ;) To get us all in the seasonal sprit, the whole team gathered to decorate the office in twinkling lights, tinsel and other sparkly things! Not long till Christmas now, right?

I don't think Bin Weevils deserved to win as they bribed their players to vote for them, which I think is unfair as Club Penguin didn't bribe at all. Anyway, at least Club Penguin and Disney got 2nd and 3rd. Hopefully Bin Weevils will learn their lesson!

Club Penguin Blog: BAFTA Kids' Vote Party - LAST CHANCE TO VOTE!

Hiya!

It’s a bit chilly in the UK right now, isn't it? Perfect weather to stay in and have a party with me! I’ll be online today at 4pm UK time, on server Snow Flake and I’d love you to join me!

Wait, I forgot to tell you why we're partying! (silly me :P). Well today is the last day of voting for the UK BAFTA Kids Vote 2013! So if you haven't voted yet, now is the last chance to do it! Then you can come and meet me online for high fives all round!

Club Penguin Blog: UK BAFTA Kids' Vote 2013!

Hiya!

If you're in the UK you may already know that Club Penguin has been nominated for yet another BAFTA Kids' Vote award for best website! Woop! What's so cool about this award is that the winner will be voted for by you!

So if you want to vote for us (UK players only I'm afraid!), simply click HERE - make sure you ask your parents first! Voting ends on the 22nd of November (that's this Friday!), so there are only a few days left to vote! The winner will be announced on the 24th of November! Finger crossed! :)

Club Penguin: Firework Displays over the Island

Over Club Penguin, many Firework Displays are taking place
Hello penguins! Recently, many firework displays around the island have been taking place. The reason for the firework displays over the island is to celebrate the occasion called the "Festival of Lights".

As Firework Displays are occurring around the island, there are a lot of fireworks which can be seen from the sky. Apparently, there have also been some sightings of fireworks in some rooms in Club Penguin. Firstly, let's check out the fireworks at the Ski Hill...

I love that Club Penguin are adding firework displays around the island to celebrate the Festival of Lights! I also like how beautiful the fireworks are and I'll make sure to enjoy them will they last!
