Hello penguins! The Monsters University Takeover is here! So, I have made a guide which will help you to do anything to do with the Monsters University Takeover in Club Penguin.
Firstly, when you log into Club Penguin a pop-up like this will appear on your screen...
Join a Fraternity or Sorority
Click the scare meter to play the Scare Games!
We are OK (Oozma Kappa) Are you?
ROR (Roar Omega Roar) Only winner many apply
PNK (Python Nu Kappa) We're gonna scare you to pieces
Pumped Up? JOX (Jaws Theta Chi)
...it doesn't matter what team you want to be on, every penguin will receive a free team hat of their choice if they click the "Join!" button. Once you have received a free team hat of your choice click on the "X" button in the top-right corner of your screen.
...once you have done this, click on the scare meter icon in the top-right corner of your screen which looks like this...
...if you have done this correctly, a pop-up like this should appear on your screen...
...here you can get some items to support your team. But as I have no points at the moment, let's focus on getting some! To get scare points, click on the Play Scare Game button which looks like this...

...here you can select which team you can earn scare points for through the Scare Games. Click on a team to play a Scare Game, if you have done this correctly - you should automatically be in a Scare Game which looks like this...
...the instructions for this game are pretty simple...
Press the space bar to Jump.
Use the arrow keys to change direction.
...also, you have three lives. Some of you may also have noticed that there's a robot in the top-right corner - this shows how asleep the robot is. Make sure to scare the robot before he wakes up!
Once you get to the robot, press the space bar when the moving red light gets into the green section for a big scare...
...as the levels progress, there will be more obstacles to avoid making it harder to scare the robot. The more scared the robot becomes - the more scare points you'll earn!
Once you've ran out of lives, a pop-up like this will appear...
...wooh! I've earned 600 scare points for my fraternity. Let's go back to the scare points catalog by clicking on the scare meter icon in the top-right corner of the screen. If you have done this correctly, your screen should look like this...
...for June 27, everyone can earn Blue Monsters Head Fin for 100 scare points. Members can earn the PNK Sweater for 250 scare points, the JOX Jacket for 150 scare points, Mike's Costume for 300 scare points, Squishy Mask for 100 scare points and Squishy Costume for 200 points.
...for June 28, everyone can earn Pink Monster Fins for 100 scare points. Members can earn the ROR Jacket for 150 scare points, the Sulley Mask for 100 scare points, the Sulley Costume for 200 scare points, the PNK Mask for 100 scare points and the PNK Costume for 200 scare points.
...for June 29, everyone can earn Purple Monster Do for 100 scare points. Members can earn the Johnny Mask for 100 scare points, the Johnny Costume for 200 scare points, the George Mask for 100 scare points and the George Costume for 200 scare points.
...for June 30, everyone can earn the Three Horned Green for 100 scare points. Members can earn the Two Eye CDA Mask for 100 scare points, the CDA suit for 200 scare points, the Terry and Terri Costume for 300 scare points, the Randy Mask for 100 scare points and the Randy Costume for 200 scare points.
...for July 1, everyone can earn the Monster Horns for 100 scare points. Members can earn the One Eye CDA Mask for 100 scare points, the Three Eye CDA Mask for 100 scare points, the Art Costume for 300 scare points, the Squishy's Mom Mask for 100 scare points and the Squishy's Mom Costume for 200 scare points.
...for July 2, everyone can earn the Yellow Monster Wings for 100 scare points. Members can earn the Hardscrabble's Wings for 150 scare points, the Hardscrabble Costume for 200 scare points, the Hardscrabble Mask for 100 scare points, the Brock Mask for 100 scare points and the Brock Costume for 200 scare points.
...for July 3, everyone can earn the Blue Monster Diva Mask for 100 scare points. Members can earn the the Don Mask for 100 scare points, the Don Costume for 200 scare points, the Claire Mask for 100 scare points, the Claire Costume for 200 scare points, the Chet Mask for 100 scare points and the Chet Costume for 200 scare points.
