Thanks Jet Pack Guy for sending us this message! I wonder where Klutzy is, and I wonder when we'll locate him! It's important that Klutzy doesn't find Herbert or the island could be in trouble yet again! It's most likely that we'll see Herbert and Klutzy return in 2014, and we'll defeat them when they strike!

By Dot the Disguise Gal - Listen up, everyone! I snuck into Herbert's base and recorded a conversation between the villain and his crab. Now we know what he's been doing with those coins!
Let's read this interesting feature story...
Taken from Dot's recording:
Herbert: Klutzy, throw another coin in! It's gotta stay nice and warm.
Klutzy: Click click, click.
Herbert: Not warm enough! I finally have a place where I can relax and enjoy a nice quiet game.
Klutzy: Clickety click click!
Herbert: Well you should have thought of that before you stole a COIN-operated dial for the furnace! Honestly, if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't even have to use my mind control device on the puffles.
Klutzy: Clickety clickety...
Herbert: Of course we don't have enough yet! I want to have be nice and toasty for the rest of my life! MWAHAHAHA!
Klutzy: Click!
Herbert: What did you just do? Don't step there! You're going to set off that trap!
That was all I was able to record before I made a stealthy escape. Good luck to all those penguins rescuing puffles.

By Gary the Gadget Guy - Greetings! The hunt for Herbert is afoot. I've been analyzing the bran boxes that you have removed, and I am close to cracking Herbert's security systems. We've already managed to sneak Dot inside once. But to permanently shut down his broadcast device, we'll need full access. I'm prototyping a new gadget that will allow an agent to infiltrate Herbert's base. I don't envy the agent that has to jump into the belly of that beast, but it's the only way! Once inside, they can use the color chips to disrupt the mind control signal and free all the puffles. That'll be the end of his heinous invention!

Club Penguin: Getting to know the Elite Penguin Force

The Elite Penguin Force is a force based in Club Penguin, which aims to defeat Club Penguin's prime suspects before they destroy Club Penguin. The Elite Penguin Force was established in 2010, after the Penguin Secret Agency was destroyed with a Popcorn Bomb. The Elite Penguin Force, to this day has a bunch of agents who are willing to stop crime in Club Penguin.

Club Penguin: Getting to know the Elite Penguin Force
The EPF's most well known agents: Jet Pack Guy, Dot, The Director, Rookie and Gary. (From left to right).
Jet Pack Guy
Jet Pack Guy, also known as the Tactical Lead, is in charge of helping EPF Agents to solve problems and become action packed to defeat the EPF's villains.

Dot
Dot, also known as the Stealth Lead, is in charge of creating disguises which EPF Agents can use to become secretive and to know when they should strike to defeat the EPF's villains.

The Director
The Director, also known as The Director of the EPF, is in charge of all of the operations which the EPF does against their villains. The Director of the EPF usually briefs every EPF Agent before every EPF mission.

Rookie
Rookie, also known as the Comm Lead, is in charge of helping EPF Agents to solve problems by using information to defeat the EPF's villains.

Gary
Gary, also known as the Technical Lead, is in charge of creating inventions and gadgets which the EPF Use. He's also in charge of helping EPF Agents to solve problems by using technology.

Club Penguin: Getting to know the Elite Penguin Force

...the Elite Penguin Force was introduced to the online world of Club Penguin in May 2010 after the Penguin Secret Agency was destroyed by a Popcorn Bomb. A more cunning test was also released for penguins to become EPF Agents within the Everyday Phoning Facility, which tested their skills. The Elite Penguin Force also released a new featured the "Field Ops" which was released every week until November 2012.

In June 2011, they were attacked by their arch enemy - Herbert P. Bear, who adapted the three Hydra robots to make a big robot to destroy the Everyday Phoning Facility.  In August 2011, the EPF released their very first operation - Operation Hibernation, the aim of the mission was to force Herbert into hibernation and keep him captive, he woke up in early 2012 due to the Underwater Expedition.

Later in 2012, Herbert attacked again and the EPF released their second operation - Operation Blackout, the aim was to stop Herbert's plan, to keep Club Penguin in darkness and under his power. Herbert also destroyed the Everyday Phoning Facility and the EPF Command Room as part of his attack. During Operation Blackout, several EPF Agents were kidnapped by Herbert including The Director. After Operation Blackout, the identity of The Director was revealed. 

In 2013, the EPF released their third operation - Operation Hot Sauce, the aim to was to get the giant bottle of Hot Sauce back and pizza. In July 2013, Herbert attacked yet again but this time, in the form of Darth Herbert for the Star Wars Takeover. At this moment in time, Herbert's location is unknown and we are unsure when he'll attack next.

Herbert P. Bear
Herbert who is also known as Herbert P. Bear is a polar bear which is the EPF's suspect at large, is one of the EPF's main enemies. Herbert has attacked the EPF several times in order to destroy the EPF, and Club Penguin. Herbert's intentions for attempting destroying Club Penguin is that it's too cold, and prefers a warmer climate.

Klutzy
Klutzy is another main enemy of the EPF and is a red crab. Klutzy is usually seen with his "master" Herbert and does all of his work. Klutzy first met Herbert when he was drowning in the shores of Club Penguin and saved him. Klutzy usually creates the inventions which Herbert uses to destroy the EPF like the Hydra Robot from the Battle of Doom.

Ultimate Protobot 10000, another enemy of the EPF.
Ultimate Protobot 10000
The Ultimate Protobot 10000 also known as UP10K, is another enemy of the EPF. The Ultimate Protobot 10000 was created by ideas of Gary the Gadget Guy, and is made up of many objects around Club Penguin like the tubes from The Dock. The Ultimate Protobot 10000 has been part of many plans against and was the main character for the Marvel Superhero Takeover 2012.

My View
I like the Elite Penguin Force as it does a great job to keep Club Penguin protected from its villains like Herbert and Klutzy. I also like how much history the EPF has had, and every time a villain takes over Club Penguin, we will defeat them!

Club Penguin Characters: Herbert

Who is Herbert?
Herbert is a polar bear who causes trouble in Club Penguin, Herbert is well known for being one of Club Penguin's villains and Elite Penguin Force's suspect at large. On several occasions, Hebert has attacked Club Penguin with his sidekick Klutzy. One example of Herbert attacked Club Penguin was in 2012 for Operation Blackout, for this plan, Herbert put the whole island in darkness and dropped the temperature - with his base being a paradise, which was hot and cosy. Herbert arrived in Club Penguin in 2008, when Klutzy drag him to the shores of Club Penguin to stop Herbert from drowning. Herbert's personality seems to very grumpy, as he hates the cold.

Can we meet Herbert?
Penguins can meet Herbert in Club Penguin at certain events which involve the EPF like Operation Blackout and Operation Puffle. When penguins are in the same room as Herbert, Herbert will be twice the size of penguins, which will means that he'll be easier to spot in a crowd of penguins. Herbert likes to visit busy servers like Cozy, Alaska and Blizzard. Herbert also likes to visit rooms like the Town, the Ski Village and his lair (only available during certain events).

Giveaway Background
At this moment in time in Club Penguin, penguins can currently receive a giveaway from Herbert which looks like this...

The giveaway is called "Herbert's Hoard Giveaway" and shows Herbert and Klutzy in Herbert's Secret Lair which was used for Operation Puffle. Penguins can collect this giveaway by meeting Herbert in Club Penguin, and clicking the "box" on his playercard. You can also receive this giveaway (if you have Herbert on your friend's list) by clicking on Herbert on your buddy list and clicking on the "box" on his playercard.

Stamp
If you are on the same room as Herbert, you'll receive the Herbert Stamp automatically. The Herbert Stamp is Extreme difficulty which means it's quite hard to collect, here's what the Herbert Stamp looks like...

Yes, as Herbert is online for Operation Puffle in Club Penguin.

My View
I think the character of Herbert is quite mischievous, which means havoc in Club Penguin! I like the idea that penguins can meet Herbert as he's different to meet than any other Club Penguin Character like Aunt Arctic and Gary.

Club Penguin Characters - Klutzy

Who is Klutzy?
Klutzy is a well known crab in Club Penguin, and is the sidekick of the villain, Herbert P. Bear. In fact, Klutzy was the one who saved Herbert from drowning, when he first made his way to the island. Klutzy has made countless appearances with Herbert in EPF missions and some levels of the game "System Defender". Klutzy first made his appearance in Club Penguin in the PSA mission "Secret of the Fur", in which he is captured by the PSA and interviewed by Gary in the next PSA mission called "Questions for a Crab". After that, Klutzy made an appearance in every PSA mission, even the last PSA mission "Veggie Villain" in which he is playing a video game and assisting Herbert. As well as the PSA missions, Klutzy has made appearances in EPF missions such as Operation Blackout, in which he helps Herbert to takeover the island. One of the only times in which Klutzy isn't with Herbert is during the Star Wars Takeover as Herbert is acting as Darth Herbert. I'll be talking about Klutzy's personality later on this post...

Can we meet Klutzy?
Unfortunately, penguins cannot meet Klutzy in Club Penguin. However, penguins can unofficially meet Klutzy during PSA missions, EPF missions and some levels of System Defender. Hopefully in the future, Klutzy will be able to be met and will have his very own giveaway background.

The Personality of Klutzy
In this part of the post, I'll like you to find out more about the personality of Klutzy, so that you'll understand his character a bit more...

Club Penguin Characters - Klutzy - Personality

Some penguins may be questioning Klutzy's actual personality,  Klutzy seems to have to sides to him. The first side to Klutzy is being evil, which he has shown by assisting Herbert in his many evil plans to takeover or destroy Club Penguin. In assisting Herbert, it shows that he may agree with Herbert's views about Club Penguin. However, the other side to Klutzy is that he's kind and compassionate. We've already learned that Klutzy is kind, as Klutzy saved Herbert from drowning, which shows that he isn't afraid to help somebody out. A recent example of Klutzy being kind and compassionate is when Herbert got dragged away be many puffles after his failure of yet another one of his plans for Operation: Puffle, since then, Klutzy has been determined to find Herbert in the wilderness in Club Penguin, which shows he can't leave Herbert's side. We can also see that Klutzy's kindness is very strong, as many times, Klutzy has been the blame for the failure of Herbert's plan, which has made Herbert quite angry at him. Questions about Klutzy's personality have still be left unanswered: Is Klutzy's kindness being used for the wrong reasons? and why? I'm certain that we'll find out more about Klutzy's personality when Herbert strikes again.

My View
I like how the character of Klutzy is seen as evil and kind, which is a weird range of personality. I wonder if Klutzy will ever separate from Herbert. I would like Klutzy to be able to be met in Club Penguin as it would be interesting to meet a crab instead of penguins like Gary and Cadence.

Operation Blackout Guide Chapter 6


Hello Penguins! Today is the November 24th, so it's time for the final chapter of Operation Blackout. Here is our orders from the Director...

Listen closely Agent, Take these Anti-Lava Boots, and use them to sneak into Herbert's Central Command room. This is my final message. Herbert has found me. He is coming. The fate of the island rests on you---
 After you have read our orders, Click on the 'Equip' button to get the Anti-Lava Boots.


Once you've got your Anti-Lava Boots, here's what we have to do...

6.2 Sneak into Herbert's Central Command room
6.3 Shut down the Solar Laser and save Club Penguin
Once you've got read what you have to do, click on the 'Go There' button.


Once you're there click on the door. (To get past this door you must be wearing the Anti-Lava Boots)


Once you're in the next room, click on the Solar Laser Terminal and the click on the 'Yes' button. Now we are in Solar Laser Terminal. Here is what we have to do to access the terminal...

Move the security blocks to get the pass-key to the lock.
Once you have understood the instructions, click on the 'OK' button.


Once the Self Destruct Sequence has been initiated, click on the 'OK' button.

Once you have done that, watch the ending video.


Wow! The Director is Aunt Arctic! I will keep your secret.


The EPF shall rise again...

After the video has ended, this will pop up...

You have found a Covert Agent Station. Would you like to pick it up?
Click on the 'Yes' button to collect the Cover Agent Station.

Operation Blackout Guide Chapter 5


Hello Penguins! Today is the November 22nd, so it's time for Chapter 5 of Operation Blackout. Here is our orders from the Director...

>>Operation: Blackout
>>Chapter 5
The crabs ambushed Jet Pack Guy, and captured him. Things look dark, but we cannot fail. The last Security Terminal is protected by a smoke screen. Use these goggles to navigate the smoke. No darkness can blind us.
 After you have read our orders, Click on the 'Equip' button to get the Smoke Goggles.


Once you've got your Smoke Goggles, here's what we have to do...

5.2 Use them to see through the smoke protecting Security Terminal 5
5.3 Shut Down Security Terminal 5
Once you've got read what you have to do, click on the 'Go There' button.


Once you're there click on the door. (To get past this door you must be wearing the Smoke Goggles)


Once you're in the next room, click on the Security Terminal and the click on the 'Yes' button. Now we are in Security Terminal 4. Here is what we have to do to access the terminal...

Move the security blocks to get the pass-key to the lock.
Once you have understood the instructions, click on the 'OK' button.


Once you have been granted access, click on the 'OK' button.


Once you have done that, click on the vent door at the end of the room.


Once you're in the next room, click on the big door which is surrounded by lava.

Here is what the Director will say...

>> Attention
>>This Operation is not ready.
Check back for orders.
This operation is still classified.

November 24
for further orders.

The weather forecast calls for increased darkness with a chance of freezing.
Club Penguin is saved! Herbert is defeated. and the EPF has risen from the ashes. MWAHAHA! Just kidding. All attempts to stop me have failed. The Blackout continues. It will NEVER end.

Oh yes. And I have a message for all you penguins still loyal to the EPF. Give up. Surrender. Forfeit. Throw in the towel. My crabs are scouring the island even now. Any agents the find are immediately imprisoned in my Freezer Pods. Make no mistake, I WILL get all of you. Each day I learn another agent's identity. Each day, I add to my little icy collection. Soon I shall have the ultimate prize-the identity of your precious Director. And once I know who they are, the EPF is finished! So while I'm enjoying the sunshine, I urge you to accept the Blackout. I await your surrender.

Operation Blackout Guide Chapter 4


Hello Penguins! Today is the November 20th, so it's time for Chapter 4 of Operation Blackout. Here is our orders from the Director...

>>Operation: Blackout
>>Chapter 4
Herbert has Rookie. Agents are dropping like flies. Temperature is plummeting. We have very little time to save the island. Security Terminal 4 is protected by a laser defense system. Use this vest to sneak inside. No security system can stop us.
 After you have read our orders, Click on the 'Equip' button to get the Deflection Vest.


Once you've got your Deflection Vest, here's what we have to do...

4.2 Cut through the door between Security Terminal 3 & 4
4.3 Shut Down Security Terminal 4
Once you've got read what you have to do, click on the 'Go There' button.


Once you're there click on the door. (To get past this door you must be wearing the Deflection Vest)


Once you're in the next room, click on the Security Terminal and the click on the 'Yes' button. Now we are in Security Terminal 4. Here is what we have to do to access the terminal...

Move the security blocks to get the pass-key to the lock.
Once you have understood the instructions, click on the 'OK' button.


Once you have been granted access, click on the 'OK' button.


Once you have done that, click door at bottom with mist behind it. 

Here is what the Director will say...
