Information
The Dojo is a room in Club Penguin which is located inside of the Dojo building, which is high up in the mountains. In Club Penguin, the Dojo is a popular room with penguins who want to train in the art of Card-Jitsu. The Dojo is well known for having the game "Card-Jitsu" in it, which penguins can play by clicking on Sensei, who is in the middle of the room. Penguins can also buy ninja related items by accessing the red catalog, which can be found in the bottom-right corner. Penguins can also take a look at their progress of their Card-Jitsu journey, by clicking on the three blue cards in the bottom-right corner. From the Dojo, penguins can waddle to the Dojo Courtyard, the Fire Dojo, the Water Dojo and the Snow Dojo. The Dojo is quite an old room in Club Penguin, opened in 2005.

History
The Dojo has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2005, making it one of the oldest rooms in Club Penguin. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Dojo had a giant purple inflatable octopus in it as part of the Water Party in 2008 and the room's design was made of a pencil sketch as part of April Fools' Party in 2008. In 2013, the Dojo's design was renovated, due to an avalanche which hit the Dojo.

  • The Dojo has been damaged twice, once by lightning in 2008, and once in 2013 when an avalanche hit it.

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Town

Let's Focus on the Town in Club Penguin...
Hello penguins! It's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus. This week's In Focus is about the Town in Club Penguin...

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Town

...The Town is one of Club Penguin's most popular rooms, and who wouldn't be surprised with all of the amazing attractions! In the Town in Club Penguin, there are the three buildings; the Coffee Shop, the Dance Club and the Clothes Shop. These buildings have been in the Town ever since the days of Penguin Chat 3. As well as being the most popular, the Town is also one of Club Penguin's oldest rooms. It had remained the same in Club Penguin until 2012, when it was renovated to become more 3D! It's renovation has also brang many beautiful views - you can even see the Dojo! In it's very long history, the Town has been decorated for parties many many times and has even been covered in snow during the Operation Blackout. The Town is popular with penguins as it's the centre of Club Penguin and there's loads of space to waddle around. New additions to the Club Penguin Island, will usually see this room first when they create their account. Hopefully, the Town will remain to be one of Club Penguin's most loved rooms. I also hope that the Town will always be great whatever happens to it...

My View
I like how Town is such a popular room with penguins as it gives the Town character. I also like the new renovation of the Town because it makes it more realistic and we can also see some jaw-dropping views from it as well!

Your Say
Now it's time for your say! What do you think of the Town in Club Penguin? What is your best memory of meeting in the Town in Club Penguin? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Ninja joins Twitter and tweets a sneak peek

Hello penguins! Recently another member of the Club Penguin Team, Ninja, joined Twitter. Here is what his profile looks like...

...ever since Ninja joined Twitter he has been showing his wisdom through his tweets. In particular, he tweeted this very revealing tweet...
...what makes the tweet above, very special is that it contains a sneak peek of the new Dojo Courtyard...

...from this sneak peek above, we can see what the new Dojo Courtyard will look like. We already knew what some of it looked like from this sneak peek. Most importantly, we can see that Ninja Hideout is no more! Does this mean that the Dojo will contain the paths to the Water, Fire and Snow Dojos? I like this design of the New Dojo Courtyard because it gives us a better idea of how ninjas get to the Dojos. What do you think of Ninja joining Twitter? What do you think of the sneak peek above? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Avalanche at the Dojo

Hello penguins, many of you know that in Club Penguin there have been signs of snow. Recently this snow has triggered an avalanche, unfortunately this avalanche has hit the Dojo! Me and my white puffle "Flurry" went to the Dojo to find out more...

...at the Dojo Courtyard, we can see that most of the Dojo is covered in snow from the avalanche. The Red Ninja Gate has also be slightly inclined by the snow, the Fire, Water and Snow Dojos can be slightly seen behind the piles of snow. Is this a sign suggesting that the elements caused this avalanche? Maybe...

...at the Dojo Courtyard, we can also a tunnel which leads to the Ninja Hideout. Let's have a wonder in it...

...in the Ninja Hideout we can see a lot of snow on top of the roofs, we can also see that a fish gong has been removed from the roof. The fire in the lanterns on both sides of the Ninja Hideout have been extinguished.due to the melting snow. Let's make our way in the Dojo, maybe it'll be warmer in there...

...here in the Dojo we can see that there is table with refreshments on it for the ninjas shoveling out the snow on the Dojo. Let's make our way to the construction site in the bottom right corner of the Dojo.

...from the construction site, we can see that there are some plans to renovate the Dojo as it has been damaged by the avalanche. Hopefully, next week we'll get some progress on this...

...while waiting for next week, I'll help out the ninjas to remove the snow from the Dojo with my shovel.

I can't wait for Card-Jitsu Snow! From this avalanche, I'll assume that we're very close to training in it. What do you think about the avalanche hitting the Dojo? What do you think about the construction going on inside of the Dojo? Are you excited for Card-Jitsu Snow? Are you going to help Sensei by removing the snow from the Dojo? Share us your thoughts about the avalanche at the Dojo by leaving a comment below.

Club Penguin Times Issue #395

Hello penguins, Today a new issue of the Club Penguin Times was released...

This week's feature story is about an avalanche covering the Dojo. It says...

Avalanche covers Dojo?
The time to work together has come.
By Aunt Arctic - Way up in the mountains, heavy snowfall has caused an avalanche. Ninjas have reported damage to the Dojo and Hideout.
Want to Read More of this Feature Story? Look Below.
When I traveled to the Dojo to get more information, I found Sensei assessing the damage. "I had a worrying dream... a dark presence, in the shadows of the past. When I awoke, the mountain shook, and the avalanche covered the Dojo." "Luckily no ninjas were training at the time." When asked for more details, Sensei quickly steered focus back to the task at hand. "There has been a shift. The elemental forces are out of balance. I am calling on all ninjas-past, present and those yet to join us-to prepare for battle." "It's time, ninjas. Together, from May 23 , we must master the power of Snow."
This week's Support Story is about some Snow Villains being spotted from the mountains. It says...

Something icy this way comes
Snow Villains sweep in from the mountains.
By a Ninja- A flurry of fear of sweeping the island with whispers of masked snowmen in the mountains. It is said that three minions are coming with two targets in mind-defeat Sensei and destroy the Dojo. "A great challenge awaits us." Sensei confirmed. "We must master Snow to restore elemental balance. We will defend all we have worked for." Citizens of Club Penguin are uncertain what caused this disturbance and questions are looming. Are the snow minions the only danger we must face? Is there a greater force at work? But one thing we know is certain-an icy outcome awaits.
This week's Upcoming Events are...

On now! Furniture Catalog - Turn your igloo into a ninja hideaway with all new furniture.

May 23 Master Snow - Play Card-Jitsu Snow and train to unite elements.

May 23 Card-Jitsu Party 2013 - Visit all decorated rooms to earn the Explorer Stamp May 23-June 4.

Find the collectible pin! Hidden now until May 29. Next pin hidden: May 23-June 4
