Club Penguin Blog: Safer Internet Day - Take the Pledge, Play the Game!

Hiya!

It's been a great Safer Internet Day so far! We had an epic online party earlier to celebrate this important day! It was brill to see so many of you willing to raise awareness about using the internet safely and with respect. Which reminded me of our Online Safety Pledge! The pledge is a great way for you to make a promise that you'll work with Club Penguin to help make the internet an amazing place for everyone!

You can download the pledge by clicking here! Just print it out, fill in the blanks and share it with your parents and your pals! But don't forget, It Starts With You!

Also, the team has put together a mega printable board game for you to play with your friends and parents, to learn more about online safety whilst having loads-a fun! That's what we're all about, after all! Currently this is only available to players in the UK, but hopefully we'll roll it out to the rest of you soon. You can download the game here!

Plus you can still take the safety quiz by clicking the clipboard icon at the top right of the screen when you're logged into CP. As I write this, 537667 people have passed it! WOWZERS! Don't forget, everyone that passes the quiz gets the awesome safety hoodie item! :)

We want to get the word out to Be Cool to others, Be Heard when you see something that's not safe, and Be Safe by keeping your personal information secret.

To remind everyone, we made this new video that will be airing on Disney Channel and other places next week. And helping us get the word out is fellow Penguin and star of Disney Channel's Dog With A Blog -- G. Hannelius!

I also like the sneak peeks from this week's episode, my favourite sneak peek from this week's episode was the February 2014 Penguin Style catalog, as I've always wanted to dress up as a cowboy, and for The Fair as well! The video above has also made me rather excited this week's updates in Club Penguin!

Tomorrow (October 27th 2013) will mark the end of British Summer Time, which means that it's time to turn your clocks back one hour. The reason for this is that the night is creeping more into the day, which means it will get dark earlier, this would create many safety risk - and that's why the clocks have to be turned back one hour....

...clocks which are on your computer or other devices and radio controlled devices do not need to be changed - any clocks which aren't either of these should be turned back one hour. While were talking about things getting dark, the Boba and Jango CP Team would love to wish everybody a spooky Halloween and an even spookier treat-or-treating!

My View

I really hope penguins from the UK learn more about turning their clocks backward one hour from this post and stay safe! I also hope that penguins have a great time trick-or-treating for Halloween as well!
