By Aunt Arctic- October is here! The pumpkins are ripe, there's a chill in the air, ad excitement is spreading fora spectaculary spooky season. Although Halloween is still several weeks away, many penguins are already getting into the spine-tingling spirit.

I found Gary examining some of the island's most mysterious Halloween artifacts. "I've studied this extensively," he said, picking up an antique key. "Ahh, and of course there's the exceptionally strange disappearance of my Great Uncle Gariwald VIII," added Gary, holding up a photograph. "Vanished without a trace. Mansion and all." "A most peculiar mystery. Perhaps this year I can get to the bottom of it!" Get ready for a positively frightening month of terrifying discovery. The party starts Oct. 18.
