Club Penguin Times: Issue #428

The Club Penguin Times publish their 428th Issue
Hello penguins! Recently in Club Penguin, the Club Penguin Times have published their 428th issue. This post will go through the recent stories featured in the Club Penguin Times and the upcoming events to hit Club Penguin...

Feature Story - Coins For Change a success!
Now, this week's feature story is about 2013's Coins For Change campaign being a sucess. Let's have a look at it...

Club Penguin Times
By Aunt Arctic - Thank you so much everyone! With your donations, we unlocked every charity project!
Let's read more of this interesting feature story...
From donating activity packages to building a whole hospital wing, we've really made a difference this year! I was so proud to see everyone come together to collect the coins that were spilled. Plus, there were so many donations of your own! Generosity and teamwork like this is what makes Club Penguin so wonderful. Brilliant work! Of course, I also need to thank Rockhopper for leading the Holiday celebrations! He has set sail again, but he told me this before he left. "It be a roarin' ruckus of a good time! I be honored to be a part o' the Coins For Change crew!" I think "crew" is a good word to use. We're all working together to raise coins and awareness for these charities, after all. The success we have belongs to all of us. So thank you again. I can't wait to see what we do together next!
Support Story - Rookie hits the slopes!
Now, this week's Support Story is about Rookie giving a tour of the Ski Village area. Let's have a look at it...

Club Penguin Times

By Rookie - Hi everyone! Rookie reporting from the Ski Village. It took me AAAGES to pass the Tour Guide test, but now I can tell you about cool places around the island! The Ski Village is on the west of the island. That's the left side of the map if you haven't accidentally opened it upside-down. At the top-right of the village, you can find the Ski Lodge. It's a really cozy spot to play Find Four or go Ice Fishing. There's also the Everyday Phoning Facility here. I cannot say that it is a secret spy base, or I cannot say that? Um. It has phones! Also in the village is the Tour Guide stand where I got my hat! You need to be at least 45 days old to take the test, and it can be really hard. You might need to ask for help, like I did! Thanks for staying for the tour! Talk to you soon!

Upcoming Events
Now, this week's Upcoming Events are very interesting! Let's have a look at them...

Club Penguin Times
Jan. 16 Furniture Catalog - Ugga Ugga Furniture!

Jan. 16 Stage - Penguins That Time Forgot hits the Stage!

I loved the reading the stories from this week's issue of the Club Penguin Times! Club Penguin Blog: Month in Review - December 2013
Hello Penguins!

In our last Reviewed by You post, we asked, "what is your all-time favorite food?"

I really liked Jill56891's answer:

"My all-time favorite food is chicken. There is so many ways you can cook chicken. You can fry it, you can bake it, and many more ways! You can have all kinds of different seasonings on it, so it never gets old.Hands down, chicken is my favorite food. Waddle On!"

So true Jill56891. I don't know about all of you, but this blog post made me hungry!

Club Penguin Blog: Month in Review - December 2013

Now it's time to look back on all the awesome stuff that's happened in December! Here are some highlights:

* Clothing Catalog
* Furniture Catalog
* #WaddleOn - Holiday Special
* The Spoiler Alert - Holiday Special
* Holiday Party
* Coins For Change

What were your favorite parts of December? What would you like to see added to Club Penguin next year? Let us know in the comments below!

We'll pick one comment to feature in next week's Reviewed by You. If your review is featured next week, we'll add 10,000 coins to your account. Just like that. Boom.

PS: Don't forget to use your penguin name so we can add the coins!

Until then... Waddle On!

Club Penguin: Holiday Gift Pin

A new pin has been hidden somewhere in Club Penguin - the Holiday Gift Pin
Hello penguins! As it's been two weeks since the last pin was hidden (the Ornament Pin), so that means, it's about time Club Penguin hid a new pin! Below, I have created a step-by-step guide which will help you to find the new pin - the Holiday Gift Pin!

1: Where is the New Pin?
The new pin has been hidden in a place which is less popular than rooms such as the Town. The new pin in Club Penguin has been hidden in the Boiler Room, as you can see below...

Club Penguin: Holiday Gift Pin

...specifically in the Boiler Room, the Holiday Gift Pin can be found on top of the boiler.

2: How can I collect the Holiday Gift Pin?
The Holiday Gift Pin in Club Penguin can simply collected by just clicking on it...

Club Penguin: Holiday Gift Pin

...if you have done this correctly, a blue pop-up box will appear on your screen which will look like this...

Club Penguin: Holiday Gift Pin

...to collect the Holiday Gift Pin, all you have to do is click on the "Yes" Button.

3: How long have I got to collect the Holiday Gift Pin?
To collect the Holiday Gift Pin in Club Penguin, you'll have a whole two weeks to collect it. Make sure you collect the Holiday Gift Pin, as it'll disappear in two weeks and never return!

My View
I like that the Holiday Gift Pin is hidden in a less popular room in Club Penguin, this makes it harder for penguins to find! The Holiday Gift Pin will only been hidden in Club Penguin for 2 weeks! I also like that this pin has been hidden especially for the holidays!

Your Say
Now it's time for your say! What do you think of the Holiday Gift Pin? Have you collected the Holiday Gift Pin? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Club Penguin Times
By Aunt Arctic - Interviewing Captain Rockhopper is always entertaining - even when it involves a lot of fact-checking. I caught up to him at the train station for this exclusive interview:
Let's read more of this interesting feature story...
AA: "So Captain, how does a train engineer compare to being a ship captain?"

RH: "I say it just be as excitin'. Why, it only be only a few nights ago (Tuesday, perhaps) when I came across a terrible beast.

It was a stormy night on the rails, and me hold was full o' coins. I be nearin' the station when out of the snow rose a Woolly Pink Flamingo! The monster hopped on me train and be peckin' at me hat before I could say, 'Shiver me tinsel!'"

RH: "I swung the train to starboard and headed straight into the storm! The wind were whippin' up snow and I be blinded!

Me only hope was to press on at full speed! When I came out the other side o' the storm, the pesky bird be gone. I be happy as a clam that me haul o' coins made it back to the donation station that night."

AA: "Thank you, Captain Rockhopper. Everyone look out for rogue Woolly Pink Flamingos! Good luck on your next voyage."

The first ever Holiday Party was in 2005, and known as the Christmas Party 2005. There were barely many decorations across the island, and there were two free items: the Christmas Scarf and the Santa Hat. The Holiday Party was in 2006, and was called the Christmas Party 2006. There was a blizzard, which caused snow to cover most of Club Penguin's most famous buildings, there were also two free items: the Santa Beard and Santa Hat. The next Holiday Party was in 2007, and was called the Christmas Party 2007. There was a giant Christmas tree in the Ski Lodge, and the first ever Coins For Change was on the island, there were also four free items: Santa Hat, Reindeer Antlers, Christmas Scarf and Bell. The next Holiday Party was in 2008, and was the last party to be called "The Christmas Party". Rockhopper made his first ever appearance and was docked at the Dock, penguins could also make toys at the Dance Lounge. There were also three free items: the Santa Hat, the Santa Beard and the Bell. The next Holiday Party was in 2009, and was the first party to be called "The Holiday Party". Penguins could deliver presents to penguins using the Sleigh Ride on the Night Club Rooftop. There were also three free items: the Santa Hat, the Santa Suit and penguins could send the Candy Cane Hat to their buddies using the Penguin Mail. The next Holiday Party was in 2010, which was called the Holiday Party 2010. Penguins could meet Santa at the Book Room and fill the Lighthouse for Coins for Change. There were four free items: the Reindeer Antlers, Globe Hat, Holiday Toque and Santa's Present Bag. The next Holiday Party was in 2011, which was called the Holiday Party 2011. Penguins could bake cookies for Coins For Change in the Bakery which was located next to the Dance Lounge. A bunch of free items could be collected from the Sleigh Ride at the Night Club Rooftop and the advent calendar in the Forest. The next Holiday Party was in 2012, which was called the Holiday Party 2012. Penguins could transform into a Frost Bite, a Race Car and a Reindeer Puffle. A bunch of free items could be collected by logging on each day. Now to the present day, we are are currently enjoying the Holiday Party 2013. Members can conduct trains to donate coins for Coins For Change at the Coins For Change Train Station, which is located at the Snow Forts (as pictured above).
