Club Penguin Rooms: The University

Let's explore and find out more about one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the University...
Hello penguins! In this post, we'll be exploring one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the University. Below you'll find information, history and even some trivia on the University in Club Penguin. Let's get started...

Club Penguin Rooms: The University
Club Penguin Rooms: The University

Information
The University is a room in Club Penguin which is located inside of the University building at the Mine Shack. In Club Penguin, the University is a popular room with penguins who want to learn more about Club Penguin in class and eat food at the cafeteria. From the Puffle Hotel Lobby, penguins can waddle to The Stadium and The Mine Shack. The University is quite a new room, opened in in 2013 after the Monsters University Takeover.

History
The Puffle Hotel Lobby has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2013. After the Monsters University Takeover, the University was opened by Club Penguin's fool, Rookie. In it's little time in Club Penguin, this room has been quite a lot of things for events and parties in Club Penguin. The University acted as Santa's workshop during the Holiday Party 2013 and a vampire school as part of the Halloween Party 2013.

Trivia
  • This room was opened after the Monsters University Takeover in 2013.
  • This room updates daily (e.g. canteen menu and writing on blackboard).
  • The University replaced the former Recycling Plant room.
My View
I like how penguins can learn about Club Penguin in the University, I also like the little features in the University like the canteen and the lockers at the bottom.

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Stadium

It's time to focus on the Stadium, the source of competitiveness in Club Penguin...
Hello penguins! As it's the start of a new week in Club Penguin, it's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus! This week's Club Penguin: In Focus is about the source of competitiveness for penguins in Club Penguin! Let's focus on the Stadium...

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Stadium
Club Penguin: In Focus: The Stadium

...the Stadium is one of the many rooms which are on the Club Penguin island. The Stadium has been a room since 2005, although it has received many graphical updates, it has remained and penguins have continued to score goals in the sports of soccer and ice hockey. When this room was introduced to Club Penguin it was known as the "Ice Rink" and remained as an ice rink all year round. It was not until 2008, the ice rink became a soccer pitch during the summer. In 2010, the Stadium received it's most massive graphical update, objects like stands for penguins to sit and watch a match, a commentator stand for penguins to make their own commentary of the match and a snack stand for penguins to grab a snack. This made it more popular with penguins as it gave them more things to do, rather than just playing a game. In 2013, the Stadium was given a small graphical update, trees and scenery which were more details were added, plus the lines and shapes on the ice rink were made more sharp. A path to the University was also added, and replaced the Winter Sports booth. The Stadium is also one of the only rooms in Club Penguin to be updated twice every year, from an ice rink to a soccer pitch during summer and from a soccer pitch to an ice rink during winter. Although The Stadium has changed many time during the history of Club Penguin, it still remains to be a place where competitive penguins come to play ice hockey or soccer. Without the Stadium in Club Penguin, penguins would find it hard to compete against each other and meet new friends...

    My View
I like that the Stadium is a great place for penguins as they can do so much there, like grabbing a snack and playing soccer or ice hockey! I also like how this room can make penguins competitive as there so determined to win their game of ice hockey or soccer.

    Club Penguin Rooms: The Stadium

Let's explore and find out more about one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the Stadium...
Hello penguins! In this post, we'll be exploring one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the Stadium. Below you'll find information, history and even some trivia on the Stadium in Club Penguin. Let's get started...

    Club Penguin Rooms: The Stadium
    Club Penguin Rooms: The Stadium

    Information

The Stadium is a room is Club Penguin which is located in the centre of the Club Penguin island. In Club Penguin, the Stadium is a quiet room in Club Penguin which has an Ice Rink/a Soccer Pitch in the centre of it (depending on what time of the year it is). As well as the Ice Rink/Soccer Pitch, there are two stands on each side, a commentator stand and a snack stand. The Stadium is quite well known for attracting penguins who love to compete against each other in a game of ice hockey/soccer. From the Stadium, penguins can waddle to The Snow Forts and The University.

    History
The Stadium has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2005 and is one of the oldest rooms in Club Penguin. In 2010, the Stadium was given a renovation to its current design. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Stadium was the centre of its own games as part of the Stadium Games in 2010 and has been a bumper car stadium as part of the The Fair 2012. In July 2013, a path to the University was added and replaces the Snow and Sports booth.

    Trivia
    • The Stadium's design changes twice a year, to Ice Rink from Soccer Pitch and then back again.
    • The Stadium is rarely decorated for events and parties in Club Penguin.
    • The Snow and Sports catalog was moved here after the Sports Shop was destroyed in 2010.
    My View
I like how penguins can play ice hockey and soccer with each other at the Stadium. I also like the other features like the commentator stand, and the stands which penguins can sit in.

Club Penguin Rooms: The Snow Forts

Let's explore and find out more about one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the Snow Forts...
Hello penguins! In this post, we'll be exploring one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the Snow Forts. Below you'll find information, history and even some trivia on Snow Forts in Club Penguin. Let's get started...

Club Penguin Rooms: The Snow Forts

Club Penguin Rooms: The Snow Forts

    Information

The Snow Forts is a room is Club Penguin which is located roughly in the centre of the Club Penguin island. In Club Penguin, the Town is a popular room with penguins as it's a great place to have a snowball fight with your buddies and other penguins. The Snow Forts is quite well known for it's two snow forts (one with a blue flag, the other with a red flag). It is also known for containing the Club Penguin Time Zone clock in it, which tells penguins what time it in Penguin Standard Time. From the Snow Forts, penguins can waddle to The Town, The Stadium and The Plaza.

    History
The Snow Forts has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2005 when Club Penguin was released, it is in fact one of Club Penguin's oldest rooms. In 2007 in The Snow Forts, the Clock Tower was added. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Snow Forts has been a habitat for lions and snow leopards for the Earth Party 2012 and has been the entrance for three movie sets for the Hollywood Party. The Snow Forts has also only had one major graphical design in it's history and that was in 2012 to it's current look.

    Trivia
    • The Snow Forts was opened in 2005, when Club Penguin was released.
    • The design of the Snow Forts is changed slightly twice a year, when the Stadium changes from the Ice Rink to the Soccer Pitch and vice versa.
    • The Snow Forts was redesigned on December 6th, 2012.
    • The Snow Forts is a room which can be accessed on the Club Penguin App.
    • When a party or event is going on in Club Penguin, the Snow Forts is regularly decorated.
    • The clock in the Snow Fort was broken by Herbert as part of the PSA mission, Clockwork Repairs.
    My View
I like how penguins can have snowball fights at the Snow Forts, this also brings buddies and penguins together, which is great! I also like how the Snow Forts has a Clock Tower in it as it helps penguins to find out what the time is in Club Penguin. This could also be useful when penguins are meeting up in Club Penguin (e.g. "We'll meet at 6PM Penguin Standard Time at the Snow Forts").
