Club Penguin Rooms: The Coffee Shop

Information
The Coffee Shop is a room is Club Penguin which is located inside of the Coffee Shop building at the Town. In Club Penguin, the Coffee Shop is a popular room with penguins who want to grab a coffee or smoothie and relax! The Coffee Shop is also quite well known for having two games in it: "Smoothie Smash", which can be played by clicking the smoothie stand and "Bean Counters", which can be played by clicking on the trolley with two bean bags on it in the bottom-right corner. From the Coffee Shop, penguins can waddle to The Town and The Book Room. The Coffee Shop is one of Club Penguin's oldest rooms, dating back to the days of Penguin Chat 3 (Beta version of Club Penguin).

History
The Coffee Shop has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2005 when Club Penguin was released, it is in fact one of Club Penguin's oldest rooms. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Coffee Shop has been the centre of the Anniversary parties each year and has been a trendy coffee bar as part of the Hollywood Party. The Coffee Shop is also one of the only rooms in Club Penguin to only be redesigned once, and that was in 2012, to its current look.

• The Coffee Shop was opened in 2005, when Club Penguin was released.
• The Coffee Shop was the place where the first ever pin was hidden.
• The Coffee Shop was one of the first rooms to be released to the Club Penguin App.
• The Coffee Shop is regularly decorated for parties and events in Club Penguin.

My View
I like how penguins can come to the Coffee Shop to relax, I also like how there are comfy chairs around the room, making it easy for penguins to relax. I also like how much history this room has had, making it a great place for penguins to remember memories in the Coffee Shop.

Club Penguin Blog: Daffo's App Tips: Smoothie Smash!

Hiya!

How fab is the new Club Penguin app update? Smoothie Smash is one of my fave games so it’s brill I can now play it on iPad! I’ve been playing all day and thought I’d share my tips with you:

• There aren’t any obstacles like anvils on the iPad game – it’s all about the score!
• Sparkling fruit are the ones that are needed for the current smoothie. Each time you smash a sparkling fruit you get a score multiplier - X10 is the maximum. See how long you can keep it there!
• Sometimes it’s better not to smash – see if you can work out when it’s better for you to bounce slowly!
• Always try and get the Bonus Time and Golden Apple power-ups, they’ll really boost your score!
• Collect 5 Golden Apples and your screen will be flooded with fruit, boosting your score!

Comment below with your scores! I’m sure you can beat mine as I’m not that great at it, but it’s ok because I still play looooads!

I’ll do another post soon with some useful app tips.

Club Penguin Blog: New Games Coming to Club Penguin iPad App!

Greetings Penguins,

You may remember in our last post, "The Next Big Update - Club Penguin on iPad" we mentioned we'll be building the app one piece at a time -- just like when Club Penguin was first built. Well in addition to the 4 new rooms being added, we've got 2 new mini games coming as well!

That's right! Smoothie Smash and Pizzatron 3000 are coming to iPad. Now you can play a whopping 10 mini games on the go!



In another note, what other features would you like to see in the future?

To summarise, to move your penguin, use the arrow keys. Follow the recipe by jumping in the correct fruit. In survival mode, to move your penguin, use the arrow keys. Avoid hazard by jumping over them and ducking underneath them. Jump on fruit to heal your penguin.

To start playing the Club Penguin Game, Smoothie Smash, click on the "Play" button.

Tips for playing Smoothie Smash
In this section of the post, I will give you a few tips on playing Smoothie Smash. Here they are...

• In the normal mode, try to jump on the fruit in the order they are in the order, to get more coins.
• In extreme mode, hazards are usually on the conveyor belt, so jump over them using the fruit.
• Focus on the conveyer belt for hazards as you may mistake them for fruit.

I love how the game Smoothie Smash helps penguins by giving them smoothies. I also like how sometimes you can serve Club Penguin Characters like Aunt Arctic, Rockhopper and even Herbert!

Smoothie chefs follow customer's requests to make delicious drinks. Even local celebrities are turning up to taste. "I just served Rockhopper!" said a chef, covered in mush. "Totally nailed the recipe- tons of banana, just how he likes it!""Yarr harr! This smoothie be refreshin'," said Rockhopper, draining his cup. "Slingin' fruit at a cursed volcano be makin' a pirate mighty thirsty- I'd be lovin another!" Tempted to make a mouth-watering bevvy? Then drop by Smoothie Smash at Cove, Forest, Dock or the Coffee Shop to join the freshly-squeezed fruit action. Oh, and just so you know, I like mine with a touch of peach.

This week's Support Story is about the cursed volcano being appeased. It says;

Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit Information

Hello Penguins, Today I was browsing the web when I found some additional information about the upcoming Adventure Party...

Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit - UNLOCK THE MYSTERY!

Avast! Our favourite pirate, Captain Rockhopper has bought tons of fruit, new adventures and a hungry volcano idol to Club Penguin island. Everyone can collect fruit to feed the volcano, and member penguins can set off on a scavenger hunt to find fruit new costumes. At the end of week one, after working hard to appease the volcano's hunger, the new Smoothie Smash game will be unlocked on the three fruit room areas. After the party it will take it's place permanently in the Coffee Shop - giving penguins a healthy alternative to the Coffee Shop's regular fare.

So, to round-up the information, Captain Rockhopper, the island's favourite pirate will bring a hungry volcano which we will have to tame with fruit. Member penguins can also take part in the scavenger hunt, with fruit costumes as a prize. A new game, Smoothie Smash will be released during the party, after the party, Smoothie Smash will be moved to the Coffee Shop.

I can't wait for the upcoming Adventure Party, the island will be covered in fruit! I'm also very excited to travel and tame the cursed volcano idol. I'm excited to play the new game Smoothie Smash during the Adventure Party and after. I'm very excited for the upcoming Adventure Party! What about you? Are you excited?
