Club Penguin: In Focus: The Forest

It's time to focus on the natural environment in Club Penguin, The Forest...
Hello penguins! As it's a start of a new week, it's time to focus about something different in Club Penguin. Let's get started with the very first In Focus for May 2014 in Club Penguin which is about the natural environment in Club Penguin, The Forest...

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Forest

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Forest

The Forest is one of the many rooms in Club Penguin, which penguins can waddle around in and interact with the room's scenery. In the Forest, there are a collection of trees which can also be found in other rooms in the island, as well as other natural features like a waterfall. From the Forest, penguins can waddle to other rooms in Club Penguin like the Plaza, Hidden Lake, Cove and also Mine Shack. This room was opened in 2007 after it was discovered in the area located to the east of The Plaza. Since it's discovery in 2007, the Forest has changed many times. One of the first updates to The Forest was the addition of an entrance to the Cove, which can be found in the bottom-right corner. More recently, The Forest was given a brand new design to make it fit in with the other rooms around it which were previously updated, like the Cove which was updated in September 2013 after the Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam. The Forest's update was very important to penguins as it was one of the last rooms on the island to be updated. The Forest has also played a part in some of the events and parties which have occurred in Club Penguin. A good example of this would be when the Forest was decorated with game booths for The Fair 2012, in which penguins could earn tickets, as well as earning tickets penguins could also buy some awesome prizes with their tickets. The Forest is a very calm room, which makes it a popular room with penguins who want to escape the noise of Club Penguin and embrace the nature which can be found here. Without the Forest in Club Penguin, many penguins would find it hard to take a look at Club Penguin's natural feature from up close and relax.

My View

I like how there is so many natural features which can be found in the Forest, which makes it also have a very calming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing penguins. I love how this room is so calm and relaxing as this makes it different from all of the other rooms which you can find in Club Penguin.

Hello penguins! In this post, we'll be exploring one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the Cove. Below you'll find information, history and even some trivia on Cove in Club Penguin. Let's get started...

Club Penguin Rooms: The Cove

Club Penguin Rooms: The Cove

Information

The Cove is a room is Club Penguin which is located on the right side of the Club Penguin island. In Club Penguin, the Cove is a room where penguins can relax, grab a smoothie and catch some waves. The Cove is quite well known for its campfire, which penguins usually gather round and tell stories. Penguins can play the game "Catchin' Waves" by clicking on the surfboard floating on the water. Penguins can also click on the blue catalog in the bottom-right corner, for surfboards like the silver surfboard and flames surfboard. From the Cove, penguins can just waddle to The Forest.

History
The Cove has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2007 when it was discovered by explorers, this makes it quite an old room in Club Penguin. Shortly after the Cove was discovered in 2007, there was a opening party called the Cove Opening Party. Later in 2007, the Surf Hut was constructed and added, penguins could then play a new game called "Catchin' Waves". Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Cove has been a sanctuary we penguins could drink tea as part of the Card-Jitsu Party in 2011 and has been a harbour/dock as part of Marvel Superhero Takeover in 2013. The Cove received a major graphical update in 2013 from an adapted design of the Cove during the Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam.

Trivia
  • When Smoothie Smash was released during the Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit in 2012, Smoothie Smash could be played at the Cove.
  • During the Underwater Expedition in 2012, the Cove was drained of its water, revealing a lagoon.
  • The Cove's design was updated in September 2013 to its current design.
  • The Cove was where the Pizza Party in 2013 was held during Operation Hot Sauce.
  • Penguins can look through the binoculars at The Cove to see what's at sea.
My View
I like how penguins can relax and tell stories about Club Penguin at the Cove around the campfire. I like that Club Penguin have added a smoothie stand, where penguins can drink smoothies. I also like that I can catch some waves in the game "Catchin' Waves" at the Cove as well!

History

Trivia
  • This room was renovated in 2014.
  • The Forest is a great place for penguins to play hide and seek.
  • The trees in the Forest are evergreen trees, as they don't lose their leaves throughout the year.
  • The Forest is regularly decorated for parties and events in Club Penguin, as it's quite empty.

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Cove

Let's Focus on Club Penguin's secluded spot, The Cove...
Hello penguins! It's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus. This week's In Focus is about Club Penguin's secluded spot, the Cove...

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Cove

...The Cove has been in Club Penguin ever since 2007 and was discovered by an explorer with  Jet Pack. Since it's discovery, penguins have came to the Cove to relax, swim and play the game "Catchin' Waves" - it can be played by clicking on the surf hut. The Cove has played a vital role during parties throughout the years such as an adventurous ravine, a spooky lake and a music video set. The Cove is also one of the only rooms in Club Penguin to remain with it's original design since its opening - making it a memory of the 'classic' Club Penguin. One thing is for sure that The Cove will still remain to keep penguins relaxed and chilled!

My View
I think many penguins love to hang out at the Cove with their buddies and play a game of Catchin' Waves. I also think it's a great idea for Club Penguin to make a place for penguins to relax and chill out.

Your Say
Now it's time for your say! What do you think of The Cove? What is your best memory at The Cove? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.
