Club Penguin: In Focus: 2013

Let's Focus on 2013 in Club Penguin...
Hello penguins! As the 2013 is coming to a close, I thought it would be right to focus on 2013 in Club Penguin. This means that it's time for a new "Club Penguin: In Focus". This week's "In Focus" is about the holidays in Club Penguin...

Club Penguin: In Focus: 2013

...2013 has been indeed an eventful year in Club Penguin! So many things have been discovered and other things have been enjoyed and celebrated! One of the major things of 2013 to happen is the discovery of not just one puffle but two puffles - the gold puffle and the rainbow puffle! 2013 has also been a year to introduce new events to Club Penguin, parties/events like the Prehistoric Party, Hollywood Party and Operation Puffle! 2013 has also been a year of change as well, many rooms like the Everyday Phoning Facility and the Cove gained new designs! 2013 also introduced a whole building to Club Penguin, the Puffle Hotel, which is designed for penguins and their pets, to work out, pamper and eat! My favourite party of 2013, would have to be the Star Wars Takeover, as it allowed me to dress up as some of my favourite Star Wars characters like Han Solo and Boba Fett! I can't wait for wait for what 2014 will bring to Club Penguin!

My View
I have loved 2013 in Club Penguin, as it has been really eventful and so many wonderful things like the discovery of the gold and rainbow puffles! I really can't wait to see what 2014 will be like and what other things will be coming our way!

Your Say
Now it's time for your say! What do you think of 2013 in Club Penguin? What has been your favourite part of 2013? What are you expecting in 2014 in Club Penguin? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Club Penguin Blog: The NEXT Big Update - Club Penguin on iPad

Polo Field posts about a big update coming to their app on the Club Penguin Blog
Hello penguins! Today Polo Field posts about a big update coming to their app on the Club Penguin Blog. Here is what Polo Field posted on the Club Penguin Blog...

Club Penguin Blog: The NEXT Big Update - Club Penguin on iPad

Hello Penguins,

Since the introduction of igloos on iPad, the team has been secretly working on something HUGE... the next BIG update for Club Penguin. What is it, you ask?

I'm excited to announce that we're planning to bring the whole Club Penguin world to mobile devices... starting with the iPad.

As you know, that's a lot of work! So... we're going to bring Club Penguin to mobile in the same way that we built Club Penguin back in 2005 -- one little piece at a time.

Club Penguin Blog: The NEXT Big Update - Club Penguin on iPad

Over the next year, we'll be making small updates to the app previously known as "My Penguin". The first update is coming in December, where your 3D penguin avatar will be able to visit 4 rooms on iPad for the very first time! And to celebrate the fact that we finally have the first few rooms available on iPad, we'll be renaming the app. From now on, our iPad app will be called... Club Penguin!

What do you think these new rooms will be? Stay tuned to the blog to find out more.

Until then... Waddle on!

-Club Penguin Team
My View

New Club Penguin University Room - School is now in session!

New Club Penguin University Room - School is now in session!
Hello penguins! Recently, Club Penguin have released a new room to the island - it's called the Club Penguin University and it can be located at the Mine Shack! The Mine Shack has also been remodeled due to this - let's have a look at it!

Mine Shack - Remodeled!

The new design of the Mine Shack contains the new room, the University (on the left hand side of the screen) and a new path to the Dojo (in the middle of the screen). As well as that, there re returning features such as the community tree and garden...

...however, the Recycling Plant has been removed from the Mine Shack and the University in its place!

New Club Penguin Room - The University
Let's not forget the New Club Penguin Room, the University. Let's have a look inside of it!

...in the University, there a three sections; the classroom, the corridor and the cafeteria. Talking of cafeteria - Could I have some pizza please?...

...lunch over! Time to teach in the classroom...

...class over! Times to go to my locker in the corridor...

...hmmm... I wonder what's through this door...

...the Stadium? This is new. This is where the students go during lunch break!

My View
I think that the new Club Penguin University is an awesome addition to the island as there are so many things to do there! Although the University did take the place of the Recycling Plant, the University will be more beneficial to penguins who need to learn!

Your Say

Club Penguin: In Focus: Mine Shack

Hello penguins and welcome to this week's In Focus - which is all about the Mine Shack...

Club Penguin Cheats

...the Mine Shack is a room which has been around in Club Penguin since 2006. When this room was released - it was a secret room because it was hidden on the map. Recently, this rooms has been scheduled for a new design - which is probably why have chosen it for this week's In Focus. Ever since a large update in 2010 - which brought a new room (the Recycling Plant), a community tree and a community garden, the Mine Shack has become more popular with penguins across the island. But in the present, this room will welcome a new room called the "University" which will be built this week. Many of you who are reading this are probably quite excited with this update, however other penguins are quite angry with this update as it could mean the removal of the community tree and garden. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Mine Shack has been a cave, a stage and even a haunted house! Whatever happens to the Mine Shack, we'll all know that it'll still be part of Club Penguin history.

In Focus: The Lighthouse

Hello penguins! This week's In Focus is about Club Penguin's infamous Lighthouse...

...the Lighthouse has been a building in Club Penguin for 2006. Ever since then, the Lighthouse has been full of coins, been a movie theater and even a hospital! Not many know but the Lighthouse is used to help Rockhopper to dock his ship into Club Penguin. For 7 years, the Lighthouse has been the centre of many of Club Penguin's parties and events such as the Holiday Party. The Lighthouse has also been the centre of Club Penguin life as well, ever since the stage was constructed in 2007 - many bands have performed and practiced there. Ever since late 2012 - when rooms were renovated for the "New" Club Penguin. Many penguins have asked "When will it be renovated?" - the answer - sometime in the near future. ;) All I know is that whatever happens in the future, the Lighthouse will still continue to be a room that attracts many penguins to it.

What do you think of this week's In Focus about The Lighthouse? Do you have any memories at The Lighthouse? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

A Tour of the Holiday Party 2012

Hello Penguins! Want to know more about the role of the decorated rooms of the Holiday Party 2012? Well, here is what a Tour Guide would say about the decorated rooms of the Holiday party 2012...

Here's the Town! Warm up with some cocoa from the Coffee Shop... Party in the Dance Club... or find holiday fashions in the Clothes Shop.
This is the Coffee Shop... Where elves come to relax and sip hot cocoa. If you click on the bag of coffee... You can play Bean Counters.
Welcome to the holly jolly Gift Shop. As you can see they've got a few more toys than usual. If you eat a Toy Car Cookie from the Bakery, you can participate in the holiday races. Drivers! Start your engines!
This is the Ice Rink. Let's grab some skates... from the Snow and Sports Catalog... and join the fun!
Behold! The Coins For Change Bakery! Here teams of elves are are hard at work... baking lots of magical Holiday Cookies. These cookies are filled with holiday cheer.. and also sugar. Let's check it out!
Voila! The Cookie Shop! Here you can buy Holiday Cookies. You can transform you into all kinds of things. This place is buzzing with holiday cheer right now... and also probably from the extra sugar. All sales go directly to Coins For Change.
Alright elves! Let's get to work! Here's what you need to work at the Bakery. Stand on these squares to throw ingredients into the mixer. Add an extra dash of holiday cheer by using your smiley emotes. The stand on this platform to to multiply the number of cookies. The more elves we have, the more cookies we make. Let's do it!
Happy Holidays! Welcome to the Plaza. Here you'll find the Pet Shop... A Humbug Holiday at The Stage... And a feast at the Pizza Parlor.
Ah, how lovely! Welcome to the Pizza Shop... which is looking lot more festive for the holidays. Grab a slice and cozy up to the fire... or sit down for a fine festive feast.
Here we have the Forest... which was decorated especially for reindeer puffles! If you would like to be a reindeer puffle yourself .. head to the Bakery for a holiday cookie. One bite, and you'll be pulling Santa's sleigh in no time!
This is the Cove. Wow a tropical feast! That fish looks tasty. After a bite... we can play Catchin' Waves.
Welcome to the Iceberg! The more penguins there are... the bigger and brighter the tree!
Brrrr! It's freezing here! Thi-thi-this is the home of the Frost Bites... a mischievous group of icy creatures. It is said they leave frost in their tracks. Just steer clearing of their freezing snowball attacks.
Here we have the WHOA!  Sorry, I thought a snowball was coming for me. As you can see, we've set up the snow forts here... so that holiday snowball fights may commence. Watch out! The snow is a little weaker here... so your fort might crumble from an attack! Use your jackhammer to fix the forts.
This is Rockhopper's ship, the Migrator. Arrrr! Rockhopper is challenging everyone... to bake a gazillion cookies. We'd better get started.
Welcome to the Crow's Nest! That snowman looks a lot like someone I know...
Here is the ship's cargo hold. Yarr and Rockhopper decorated for the holidays. Check out Rockhopper's Rare Items!
This is the Captain's Quarters. Play Treasure Hunt to earn doubloons for Coins For Change. And check out the Corkboard .. Rockhopper left us a message
This is the Ski Mountain. You can really see the Aurora Australis from here! Lets enjoy the lights... then head down the hill... for a game of Sled Racing.
Welcome to the Ski Village. It's a perfect place to go caroling. Grab some friends and spread festive cheer.
Here we have the Lodge .. whose decorations are fit for Santa himself! Feel free to sit for a picture .. o head upstairs to help deliver presents. And no peeking at the gifts!
Ho ho ho! Here we are on Santa's sleigh. Let's use these controls...to help fly the sleigh! We can deliver presents by pressing the button. Once we finish delivering... we can pick up a special gift!

Welcome to the Courtyard. As you can see... ninjas REALLY like decorating come inside for ninja training!

Here we are in the Dojo. Let's take a break from the Party... and train in the art of Card-Jitsu. Let's Battle!
The decorated rooms of the Holiday Party 2012 are truly amazing, without them the Holiday Party wouldn't be festive as it is. I love the Ski Lodge as it looks very festive because it has big Santa chair and a Christmas tree in the corner. I also like the Santa Sled Ride because it make penguins believe that they are Santa and can control the happiness of other penguins by delivering presents down their chimney. What is your favorite decorate room for the Holiday Party 2012? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.
