Hello penguins! It's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus. This week's In Focus is about Cadence, Club Penguin's DJ...

...At the Dance Club in Club Penguin, we'll see a DJ called Cadence spinin' the tunes. But not many know, but Cadence was introduced to Club Penguin way back in 2009 for the Waddle-A-Thon! Since then, she's been singing songs, busting moves and even giving fashion advice! Cadence is personality is very energetic and hyper, and she's ready for what's coming! Cadence is most associated with by having a text speech vocabulary, she says many phrases like "LOL, EPIC WIN and GTG". We can even see the epic DJ in the game "Dance Contest" in the Dance Club by clicking on the table by the Dance Contest poster. Cadence is also a proud puffle owner of a purple puffle called "Lolz" who was named because she made Cadence LOL! Penguins can meet Cadence at the island's annual Music Jam. In June 2012, she started a career in singing with her debut single "The Party Starts Now!". The music video also starred her favourite place - the Dance Club! Most recently, Cadence added a black top to her appearance! Without Cadence, I don't think having a party would be that epic! I also don't think Club Penguin wouldn't be the same!...

My View
I love how hyper and energetic Cadence is, it really makes the party epic! I also like Cadence single "The Party Starts Now!" as it easily gets stuck in your head. I also like the dark top Cadence has recently added to her outfit as it really suits her!

Hello penguins! This post will teach you about the history and personality of Club Penguin's DJ, Cadence. Let's find out more about Cadence...

Who is Cadence?
Cadence is a DJ in Club Penguin who spins tunes at the Dance Club. Cadence is also known as DJ K-Dance for her great dance moves like the Breakdancer move. As well as being a DJ, Cadence can also dance and sing. Cadence's first song was The Party Starts Now which was released in July 2012. Since then Cadence has released collaboration singles with the Penguin Band such as Ghosts Just Wanna Dance and Cool in the Cold. Cadence arrived to Club Penguin in January 2009 for the Dance-A-Thon party.

Can we meet Cadence?
Penguins can meet Cadence in Club Penguin at certain events like the Music Jam. When penguins are in the same room as Cadence, Cadence will wear items such as her pink and purple hair and her dark top, which will means that she'll be easier to spot in a crowd of penguins. Cadence likes to visit busy servers like Arctic, Yeti and Aurora. Cadence also likes to visit rooms like the Town, the Dance Club and the Snow Forts.

Giveaway Background
At this moment in time in Club Penguin, penguins can currently receive a giveaway from Cadence which looks like this...

The giveaway is called "Cadence's Aug 2013 Giveaway" and shows Cadence next to speakers and being lit by a spotlight. Penguins could collect this giveaway by meeting Cadence in Club Penguin, and clicking the "box" on her playercard. You can also receive this giveaway (if you have Cadence on your friend's list) by clicking on Cadence on your buddy list and clicking on the "box" on her playercard.

If you are on the same room as Cadence, you'll receive the Cadence Stamp automatically. The Cadence Stamp is hard difficulty which means it's hard to collect, here's what the Cadence Stamp looks like...

My View

I think the character of Cadence as when you meet her she brings energy to the room. I also like how Cadence has the ability to sing, as it makes her character more interesting. Without Cadence, parties in Club Penguin wouldn't be the same!

Background Information

The Party Starts Now is a song sung by DJ Cadence, it was also one of Club Penguin's first ever songs! As well as being Club Penguin's first ever song, The Party Starts Now is Cadence's debut single. The Party Starts Now was released in July 2012, and is available for penguins to buy on iTunes. Later in  July 2012, The Party Starts Now played a key role at the Ultimate Jam 2012 as a backing track and performance at the Epic Show Stadium.

Music Video

The Music Video for the Party Starts Now is mainly set in the Dance Club and the Dance Club Rooftop. It also shows the first glimpse of the future design of the Dance Club. The Music Video also includes many cameos of famous Club Penguin Characters such as PH, Gary, and even Herbert! 
Plot The Music Video starts with a close-up of Cadence singing behind her turn tables, the Dance Club has some penguins in it. Then Cadence projects a hologram of herself, which attracts many penguins to the Dance Club. Shots of penguins dancing on the dance floor are shown, in the group of penguins dancing PH can be seen. Cadence then moves to the dance floor and performs a dance routine which is also performed by other penguins at the same time. Cadence returns to her turn tables, suddenly her turn tables malfunction and a silhouette of Herbert can be seen. Cadence then activates four circled-shaped platforms which all of the penguins in the Dance Club are on, the platforms rise towards the Dance Club Rooftop. Once at the Dance Club Rooftop the party continues, Aunt Arctic, Gary, Sensei and Rockhopper can be seen dancing. Then there is a close-up of Cadence, Music Video ends with a silhouette of Cadence.

My View I like how the song "The Party Starts Now" gets me in the mood to start a party! I also like this song as it's easy to get stuck in your head!

Hello Penguins!

Since Club Penguin first started, many of you have asked if we would ever release an album... I'm super stoked to say that we're finally releasing our very first CD next month!!

The album has your favorite CP songs like "The Party Starts Now", "Ghosts Just Wanna Dance", and even "Dubstep Puffle"!

The Party Starts Now EP will be available in stores like Wal-Mart and Target in the US starting February 12! It will also be available to purchase online in other countries.

Hello penguins, Today I found a new Club Penguin Album which will be available very soon...

...The Party Starts Now Album is currently not available to purchase at the moment, but it will be available to purchase on February 12th 2013. I love all of the songs on the album like The Party Starts Now and Cool in the Cold. But, I'm quite surprised to see two new songs on the album: Puffle Party (Gotta Have a Wingman) and Dupstep Puffle. Hmm... I assume that the Puffle Party (Gotta Have a Wingman) song will be released during the Puffle Party, but why is it on the album which will be released a month before the Puffle Party. I also like that the Dupstep Puffle song will be on the album, it reminds me of the Ultimate Jam. I can't wait to purchase this album! What do you think about The Party Starts Now album?
