The Red Puffle first made their way to the island of Club Penguin back in late 2006, this wasn't long after Captain Rockhopper discovered this adventurous species on no other than Rockhopper Island! From this discovery, Captain Rockhopper decided to take back the Red Puffle species to Club Penguin as a gift to the penguins. Not long after Rockhopper docked into Club Penguin, the Red Puffle became adoptable. Rockhopper famously kept a Red Puffle and called him "Yarr", who travels with Rockhopper on his many adventures!

I absolutely love how adventurous the Red Puffle is because it's nice to have a companion with you on dangerous adventures like Rockhopper brings Yarr on adventures on the seven seas. I also like how the Red Puffle can join you in the game Catchin' Waves, it's great that you'll also get bonus coins as well!

Club Penguin Rooms: The Cove

Information
The Cove is a room is Club Penguin which is located on the right side of the Club Penguin island. In Club Penguin, the Cove is a room where penguins can relax, grab a smoothie and catch some waves. The Cove is quite well known for its campfire, which penguins usually gather round and tell stories. Penguins can play the game "Catchin' Waves" by clicking on the surfboard floating on the water. Penguins can also click on the blue catalog in the bottom-right corner, for surfboards like the silver surfboard and flames surfboard. From the Cove, penguins can just waddle to The Forest. 

History
The Cove has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2007 when it was discovered by explorers, this makes it quite an old room in Club Penguin. Shortly after the Cove was discovered in 2007, there was a opening party called the Cove Opening Party. Later in 2007, the Surf Hut was constructed and added, penguins could then play a new game called "Catchin' Waves". Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Cove has been a sanctuary we penguins could drink tea as part of the Card-Jitsu Party in 2011 and has been a harbour/dock as part of Marvel Superhero Takeover in 2013. The Cove received a major graphical update in 2013 from an adapted design of the Cove during the Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam.

Trivia

• When Smoothie Smash was released during the Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit in 2012, Smoothie Smash could be played at the Cove.
• During the Underwater Expedition in 2012, the Cove was drained of its water, revealing a lagoon.
• The Cove's design was updated in September 2013 to its current design.
• The Cove was where the Pizza Party in 2013 was held during Operation Hot Sauce.
• Penguins can look through the binoculars at The Cove to see what's at sea.

My View
I like how penguins can relax and tell stories about Club Penguin at the Cove around the campfire. I like that Club Penguin have added a smoothie stand, where penguins can drink smoothies. I also like that I can catch some waves in the game "Catchin' Waves" at the Cove as well!

How to Play Catchin' Waves

In this section of the post, I will teach you how to play Catchin' Waves. Let's have a look at the instructions for Catchin' Waves...

Movement Basics
Move your mouse to go forward, back, up and down.
Try to keep ahead of the wave.
To go faster, go forward and down.
Balance by clicking and holding the mouse button.

Jumps and Flips:
To jump, move the mouse above the wave.
To flip, make circles with the mouse.
Keep the cursor on the screen when you do flips.
More flips = more points

Tricks and Spins:
Use different combos to perform advanced tricks.
You can flip while you spin (but you have to land it).
Surf close to the curl of the wave (but not too close).

To summarise, to move your penguin, use the mouse and to make your penguin go faster, go forward, down then up (repeat). To jump, move your cursor above the wave and to flip make circles with your mouse. To do tricks, use your arrow keys.

To start playing the Club Penguin Game, Catchin' Waves, click on the "Select Game Mode" button.

In the newly designed Cove, we can see a first aid center, a nice smoothie bar and the good old campfire. We can also see that the Surf Hut is no more, and penguins can play the game "Catchin' Waves" by click on the surfboard in the water...

My View

I love the new Cove design! I like that there is a first aid center for injured penguins and a smoothie bar for penguins who want to chillax! I think that it's great all of the Club Penguin rooms are getting a new look. The new design of the Cove is miles better than the old one!

The Cove has played a vital role during parties throughout the years such as an adventurous ravine, a spooky lake and a music video set. The Cove is also one of the only rooms in Club Penguin to remain with it's original design since its opening - making it a memory of the 'classic' Club Penguin. One thing is for sure that The Cove will still remain to keep penguins relaxed and chilled! 

My View
I think many penguins love to hang out at the Cove with their buddies and play a game of Catchin' Waves. I also think it's a great idea for Club Penguin to make a place for penguins to relax and chill out.
