Club Penguin - In Focus - The Clothes Shop

...the Clothes Shop is a room in Club Penguin, which penguins go to, to buy clothes from the latest edition of the Penguin Style catalog. As well as the Penguin Style catalog, penguins can also take a look at the latest edition of the Treasure Book. The Clothes Shop has been in Club Penguin since 2006, and used to be called The Gift Shop before it was changed in 2012. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Clothes Shop has been decorated for many parties and events. There was even an event in 2012 (The Fashion Show), in which the whole room was decorated, and was the center of the event. The Clothes Shop is also decorated for the current Muppets World Tour as a Museum which has priceless artifacts and jewels in. Without the Clothes Shop, penguins would find it hard to buy things from the Penguin Style catalog and the Treasure Book, or even keep up with the fashion in Club Penguin...

I like the Clothes Shop as it's a great place for penguins to get suited in Club Penguin's latest fashion! I also like that the Penguin Style catalog is updated every month with the latest styles from Club Penguin

October 2011

We put on our party hats to celebrate 6 years of Club Penguin! Then it was time to Trick or Treat! We crept through the Dark Chamber and snuck around the island on a haunted hunt for Candy Ghosts.

November 2011

Elements collided in an awesome battle-Fire vs. Water! Together, we changed the weather! While Fire Ninjas lit up the sky, Water Ninjas summoned stormy rain clouds. Electric!

December 2011

Your generosity was inspiring! We protected endangered wildlife, provided medical care to kids, and built safe spaces like schools, libraries and playgrounds. Then we got into the holiday spirit with 12 Days of Gifts.

January 2012

When half the island sunk, we discovered an underwater city. We snorkeled passes mystical mermaids and fearsome sharks! Daring divers teamed up to navigate a watery maze.

February 2012

Fashion forward models owned the runway, judges gave rave reviews, bodyguards controlled the crowd and paparazzi captured all the action.

Rockhopper called us aboard the Migrator to embark on a pirate quest! We scavenged supplies from remote islands to help our Captain build a beacon.

March 2012

We swapped places with puffles! At the Puffle Play Zone we transformed to explore the island through the eyes of our furry pets. We dressed up in big puffle costumes. And gave our puffles awesome new hats!

April 2012

We went wacky in the Zany Dimension, and turned HUMONGOUS to teeny tiny in the zany tube. Everyone dressed up as boxes. Box party!

Then the Snow Forts transformed into an amazing Earth Day habitat!

May 2012

Huzzah! Fearless knights embarked on an epic journey to defeat the evil dragon, Scorn. And we were rewarded with a Magical Sky Kingdom!

June 2012

Heroes! Villains! Citizens! We chose our sides in the battle between good and evil. We suited up like Hawkeye, Iron Man and Black Widow. 

Robbers robbed the bank. Cops made arrests. And Hulks SMASHED! 

July 2012

Cadence kicked off the Ultimate Jam with the release of her first hit single-The Party Starts Now!

The Penguin Band rocked out on stage. And two guest star dancers showed up!

August 2012

Yar har! It was a fruit frenzy when Rockhopper arrived with tasty cargo and an ancient totem... that be cursed! It took everyone's efforts to satisfy the BIG BIG KAHUNA's appetite.

Then we smashed the rest of the fruit with out butts in Smoothie Smash!

September 2012

We raised the Big Top for The Fair! We played carnival games, chose prize cows, and cruised the island in out new bumper cars!

Club Penguin Times Issue #329

Hello Penguins, Today Club Penguin released a new issue of the Club Penguin Times....

 This week's Feature Story is about The Fashion Show's Success. It says;

"This party is just getting started!" That was the latest word from Cadence at the Fashion Show. With one week left, the event has attracted huge crowds to the Gift Shop, where it's standing room only , "There may as well call this place the Universe, because it is FULL of stars!"

The Club Penguin Times interviewed some of the superstars backstage."What a blast!" sais one of the judges. "I'm all about the wigs. Love them, if you've got a wig, get it on your head and get down here." "EEEEE!" one photographer squeed. "Did you see all the puffles in their little hats?" "They're SO CUTE!" "Fashion is an art form," said a model. "It's about standing out with your own style. Finding the right look, and being bold with it. I'm so glad we did this show." The Fashion Show wraps up Feb. 14. Find out what all the fuss is about at the Gift Shop.

This week's Support Story is about Rockhopper needing a crew for his latest adventure. It says;

Pirate-fans and ocean-watchers were suprised to discover the Migrator in the telescope this week. "Rockhopper needs help," said Gary the Gadget Guys in a jetpack. "I just spoke with him-he requires a brave crew for a dangerous quest." "On Feb.24. he'll be setting sail for the infamous Shipwreck Island. He said, 'ARR if ye got a fine pair of sea-legs, and ye be hungry for adventure, then join me crew!' I hope in pronounced that right." Rockhopper's ship will arrive in Club Penguin on Feb.16. Check next week's newspaper for more info.

Fashion Show Full Guide!

Hello Penguins, As you know the Fashion Show has started! So I thought it would be right to make a guide about the Fashion Show......

The Hotspot of the Fashion Show is at the Gift Shop! Head on down to Gift Show and help out in Fashion Show!

There are also many jobs you can do in the Gift Shop, you can be........

A Photographer- Position your penguin behind the several cameras by the runway or use the camera  item and wave.

A Stylist- Work backstage and wear a smart outfit. Help the Models get ready for their walk on the runway. Fix the models outfit by using the sewing machine and scissors at the Backstage style the Models by the mirrors.

A Technical Penguin- Go to the lights machine and change the lights by clicking on the buttons.

Audience- Sit down in the seats by the runway and cheer when the Models walk on the catwalk.

A Judge- Comment on the Models clothing and style.

Model-Walk back and forth on the catwalk, show off your fashion with your puffle.

 That's basically all the jobs you can do in the Gift Shop! My favourite job is the Stylist as I like working behind the scenes and helping others. What's your favourite job? Comment Below

Kids donated almost 11 billion of their hard-earned, virtual coins to help decide how $2 M would be shared amongst three causes. Check out the results video with your child and congratulate their efforts. Together we’re changing the world!

One thing kids love about Club Penguin is the ability to get creative by dressing up their penguin! From fabulous frocks to flippered fashionistas, we’re celebrating all the looks penguins dream up, wear, and share with our first-ever Fashion Show, on in the Gift Shop until February 14! Ask your child to show you their favorite runway looks and join this celebration of style!

Greetings!

The new clothing catalog and Fashion Show are almost ready! For those of you that asked, the event will launch by tomorrow morning, Penguin Standard Time. Thanks for your patience, everyone!

In the meantime, here's a sneak peek of the runway:
