Club Penguin Rooms: The Ship Hold

Let's explore and find out more about one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the Ship Hold...
Hello penguins! In this post, we'll be exploring one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the Ship Hold. Below you'll find information, history and even some trivia on the Ship Hold in Club Penguin. Let's get started...

Club Penguin Rooms: The Ship Hold
Club Penguin Rooms: The Ship Hold

Information
The Crow's Nest is a room which located aboard Rockhopper's ship which is called The Migrator. In Club Penguin, the Ship Hold is a popular room with penguins who want to take a look at what treasures Rockhopper has collected on his travels. The Ship Hold also has its very own catalog called "Rockhopper's Rare Items" which has items collected by Rockhopper on his travels, the catalog can be accessed by clicking the note in the bottom-right corner. The Ship Hold is also well known for being a place where Rockhopper can usually be seen, when he arrives at Club Penguin. From The Crow's Nest, penguins can waddle to The Captain's Quarters and The Migrator. The Ship Hold is quite an old room in Club Penguin, opened in 2007.

History
The Ship Hold has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2007, meaning it is quite an old room in Club Penguin. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Ship Hold has been decorated for the Pirate Party in 2007 and has also been decorated for the Holiday Party 2013. The design of the Ship Hold has remained the same since it was released in 2007.

Trivia
  • The Ship Hold shows a map of how Rockhopper gets to Club Penguin.
  • The "Rockhopper's Rare Items" catalog used to be at The Migrator before it was moved here.
My View
I like that penguins can check out Rockhopper's treasures at the Ship Hold and take a look through the "Rockhopper's Rare Items" catalog.

Club Penguin: In Focus: Rockhopper

Let's Focus on Club Penguin's adventurous pirate, Rockhopper...
Hello penguins! It's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus. This week's In Focus is about Club Penguin's adventurous pirate, Rockhopper...

Club Penguin: In Focus: Rockhopper

...Rockhopper is Club Penguin's adventurous pirate who travels on his ship called The Migrator with his first mate called Yarr. This pirate has been with us since 2006 and has been on many adventures since then. In 2008, Rockhopper crashed the Migrator (his ship) when he hit an iceberg, fortunately neither Rockhopper or Yarr were hurt. Every Holiday Party since 2009, Rockhopper has usually been there to help out with Coins For Change by encouraging other penguins to donate. Rockhopper was Club Penguin's first character which could be met, since then Rockhopper has had 7 different giveaway background.  In 2013, Rockhopper's appearance was updated with a dark grey coat, which apparently he found on an island during one of his adventures. Rockhopper is most well know for saying phrases such as "ARR" and telling stories about his adventures on the seven seas. Before 2013, Rockhopper visited Club Penguin every 2-3 months, however in 2013, Rockhopper didn't visit Club Penguin until September 2013. When Rockhopper returns to Club Penguin, he usually returns with some rare items in his "Rockhopper's Rare Items" catalog. Rockhopper is a massive part of Club Penguin and without him, Club Penguin wouldn't be the same...

My View
I like Rockhopper's adventurous quality because it encourages others to be like him and find some buried treasure! I also like meeting Rockhopper because he always tells great stories when you do!

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Migrator

Let's Focus on Rockhopper's trusty ship, The Migrator...
Hello penguins! It's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus. This week's In Focus is about Rockhopper's trusty ship, The Migrator...

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Migrator

...The Migrator is a ship which helps Rockhopper to travel the seven seas. The Migrator is made up of 4 parts; The Crow's Next, The Upper Deck, The Ship's Hold and the Captain's Quarters. In Club Penguin, The Migrator can only be boarded when Rockhopper visits Club Penguin and his ship is at the Beach. The Migrator is also the setting of the Club Penguin Book "Rockhopper and the Stowaway". When Rockhopper is sailing towards Club Penguin, you can see the Migrator through the telescope at the Beacon. The Migrator has had a lot of history surrounding it. In 2008, the Migrator was destroyed by an iceberg when Rockhopper was on his way back to Club Penguin. Gary invented the Aqua Grabber sub to collect the pieces of the Migrator which sunk to the bottom of the sea. For the Adventure Party 2009, Rockhopper brought a hold of tropical plants which could be seen all over the deck of the Migrator. In 2012, the Migrator was given an upgrade to help Rockhopper get to Shipwreck Island for Rockhopper's Quest. At the Migrator, penguins can check out the view at the Crow's Nest, steer the ship at the Upper Deck, buy Rockhopper's Rare Items at the Ship Hold and play "Treasure Hunt" at the Captain's Quarters. The Migrator also seems to only have two inhabitants; Rockhopper and Yarr. Without the Migrator, it would be impossible for Rockhopper to travel to the islands and tell some stories about his adventures. Club Penguin would not be the same without it...

My View
I like how Rockhopper is so protective of the Migrator! I also like how many things you can do on the Migrator. I also like how excited I get when I spot the Migrator through the telescope at the Beacon.

Your Say

As well as the Migrator, Rockhopper has brought a brand new giveaway background just for the Holiday Party, here is what it looks like...

All penguins who meet Rockhopper during the Holiday Party, will be able to collect this exclusive giveaway. I think that Rockhopper's Holiday Giveaway looks very awesome! I love how Rockhopper has joined in with the festivities by wearing a Santa Hat on top of his Pirate Hat. We can also see that he is standing in a big pile of coins! I wonder where he is? I can't wait to meet Rockhopper and collect his exclusive giveaway for the Holiday Party.

I love to get onto to the Migrator when it docks into Club Penguin! There are so many things to do, like browse through Rockhopper's Rare Items, Play Treasure Hunt and see some beautiful views from the Crow's Nest? Do you like when Rockhopper visits?
