The Game Upgrades Catalogs have been updated, let's take a look at them...
Hello penguins! Recently, you may have noticed that the Game Upgrades catalogs around the island have received a slight renovation. Well in this post, I'll point out the differences of the new Game Upgrades catalogs...

Club Penguin - The Game Upgrades Catalogs get a Slight Renovation
...the renovation has affected all 5 Game Upgrades catalogs which can be found at The Cove, The Dock, The Ski Hill, The Ski Lodge and The Dance Club. The changes of each catalog include: new text showing how each item from the Game Upgrades catalogs work, there is also a white border to the catalog to make it stand out, the button near the item which shows how much coins it's worth and also the layout of the items in the catalog. Let's take a look at the new designs of each catalog...

As most of you know, one of my favourite things about parties is…. the clothes! So this week, lets celebrate all things 'caveguin' and have a HUGE dance party. Come dressed in your fanciest Caveguin outfit from the Prehistoric Party and we'll head to the dance club for the biggest 'Caveguin" dance off ever! Make sure you practice your moves and bring your Dino Puffles and Prehistoric jokes along!

Lets meet in the Forest on the Down Under server at 4pm (East Australian Standard Time) on Thursday 6th February, which will be 6pm for all of you in New Zealand. Don't forget, this is 9pm Penguin Standard Time on Wednesday 5th February for everyone over in the US and Canada.

Club Penguin: Ornament Pin

A new pin has been hidden somewhere in Club Penguin - the Ornament Pin
Hello penguins! As it's been two weeks since the last pin was hidden (the Puffle Medic Pin), so that means, it's about time Club Penguin hid a new pin! Below, I have created a step-by-step guide which will help you to find the new pin - the Ornament!

1: Where is the New Pin?
The new pin has been hidden in a place which is less popular than rooms such as the Town. The new pin in Club Penguin has been hidden in the Dance Club, as you can see below...

Club Penguin: Ornament Pin

...specifically in the Dance Club, the Ornament Pin can be found near the speaker on the left.

2: How can I collect the Ornament Pin?
The Ornament Pin in Club Penguin can simply collected by just clicking on it...

Club Penguin: Ornament Pin

...if you have done this correctly, a blue pop-up box will appear on your screen which will look like this...

Club Penguin: Ornament Pin

...to collect the Ornament Pin, all you have to do is click on the "Yes" Button.

3: How long have I got to collect the Ornament Pin?
To collect the Ornament Pin in Club Penguin, you'll have a whole two weeks to collect it. Make sure you collect the Ornament Pin, as it'll disappear in two weeks and never return!

My View
I like that the Ornament Pin is hidden in a less popular room in Club Penguin, which makes it harder to find! The Ornament Pin will only been hidden in Club Penguin for 2 weeks! I also like that this pin has been hidden for the holidays!

Your Say
Now it's time for your say! What do you think of the Ornament Pin? Have you collected the Ornament Pin? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?

Let's have a read of Truth or Dare?...
Hello penguins! In this section, we'll be reading through the book "Truth of Dare?". Let's have a read...

Club Penguin Books: Truth of Dare?
This is what the front cover of Truth or Dare? looks like...

Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?

Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?
There are some who say a creature used to haunt the Boiler Room. No one will outright discuss it over pizza as though discussing the latest game of Ice Hockey. But every so often, which penguins gather behind closed doors, you can catch whispers of the legend. I'm not much for whispering, but I do love telling stories. This is the story's account as it was passed on to me. They say it all started with an innocent game of Truth or Dare. RodgerRodger and DanielD stood just outside the Boiler Room doors. "My turn," said the younger of the two. "I dare you to find a way into the Boiler Room." In those days only a few penguins had access to the Boiler Room and only for temperature checks and basic cleaning.
Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?
..."Too easy," DanielD scoffed. He removed a set of keys from the pocket of his hoodie and fiddled with them in the dark, unlit hallway. "I can't believe you didn't know I work in the Boiler Room," he said as he put the key in the lock and turned the knob. The door inched open. It creaked and moaned as though being disturbed from a long sleep. CREAK...
Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?
...A chill swept over them, despite the warmth of the air. RodgerRodger would never admit it to anyone, but at that moment his flippers went clammy. He was know to be a bit of a scardie-pants which is why not many penguins believe what happened next. But I assure you, it's true. "My go, Truth or Dare, what'll it be?" DanielD asked, stepping away from the open door. "Dare," RodgerRodger said, mustering his bravest voice. DanielD raised his brows and narrowed his eyes until they were almost silvers. His beak thickened into a mischievous smile and his rubbed his flippers together bringing them up to this chest...
Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?
..."Alright, You said it," he leaned in close. "I dare you stay in there all night. Just you." You may be thinking, "No big deal. I'd spend a night down there. I'd spend a night down there. I could catch up on my newspaper reading. "The Boiler Room wasn't always as clean and bright as it is now. The room RodgerRodger entered was pitch black. There were no lights. RoderRodger shuddered. He had heard rumors of strange noises and un-explained happenings in the Boiler Room. These alarming accounts rushed through his mind as he reluctantly stepped through the large, metal door frame and onto the hard, cement floor of the Boiler Room. The door shut with an ominous, almost menacing. CLICK...
Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?
...A thick blackness surrounded RodgerRodger immediately. The floor was warm, but his flippers felt frozen in place. The air was thick and smelt like the sharp blend of fuel and chlorine. The furnace was spurting steam from the pipe, whistling as it did. The boiler gurgled, sounding more like a penguin with hunger pains than a boiler doing its job. RodgerRodger began to shake and he got dizzy. "Pull yourself together," he told himself. "It's going to be long night if you keep this up." Very deliberately, he started shuffling forward, stretching his flippers out carefully to meet whatever was in his path. Suddenly the feathers on the back of his neck stood up. "What was that?" He turned toward the sound. Nothing. "Maybe I'm just making it up," he sighed. No! There it was again! Something sniffled. Then it scuffled. A broom, or something,...
Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?
...fell to floor from it's hook on the all with a BANG. RodgerRodger froze in mid step. He waited, fighting the urge to scream. "It's happening," he thought. "The rumors are true. The Keeper of the Boiler Room really exists and I'm about to meet him!" RodgerRodger surprised even himself with what he did next. Though a friendly sort of penguin, he often let fear get the best of him. But not this time. He bucked up his courage and called out to the stranger. Softly at first, then louder. "Keeper? Are you there? Come out!" There was no response, only the soft sound of the Keeper's breathing and the beating of his own heart in his chest. Eventually he too fell silent.. Feeling dejected and scared he sat with his back to the door. Just as his eyes grew heavy with sleep and his beak sagged...
Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?
...to his chest, he felt soft fur rub the bottom of his right flipper! "Help! Help!" he yelled. He jumped up, grabbed the doorknob with both flippers, and pulled with all his strength. The door flew open, sending RodgerRodger tumbling backwards into s stack of boxes. DanielD stood in the doorway, shocked at what he saw. Half hidden by the pile of toppled boxes sat a dozed RodgerRodger. But he wasn't alone. There atop his head sat a green, petit, furry creature with a gigantic, playful grin. DanielD blinked in disbelief and exclaimed, "It's the Keeper!" Those who knew him best, including DanielD say this story's true...
Club Penguin Books: Truth or Dare?
...RodgerRodger really did solve the mystery of the Boiler Room Keeper. They say the proof of his courage is in the Night Club, perched on a speaker.
My View
I love the plot of Truth or Dare? because it teaches us so much that we should be courageous and shouldn't fear anything! I also like how we can see the Keeper of the Boiler Room at the Dance Club as it reminds me of this fascinating story.

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Town

Let's Focus on the Town in Club Penguin...
Hello penguins! It's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus. This week's In Focus is about the Town in Club Penguin...

Club Penguin: In Focus: The Town

...The Town is one of Club Penguin's most popular rooms, and who wouldn't be surprised with all of the amazing attractions! In the Town in Club Penguin, there are the three buildings; the Coffee Shop, the Dance Club and the Clothes Shop. These buildings have been in the Town ever since the days of Penguin Chat 3. As well as being the most popular, the Town is also one of Club Penguin's oldest rooms. It had remained the same in Club Penguin until 2012, when it was renovated to become more 3D! It's renovation has also brang many beautiful views - you can even see the Dojo! In it's very long history, the Town has been decorated for parties many many times and has even been covered in snow during the Operation Blackout. The Town is popular with penguins as it's the centre of Club Penguin and there's loads of space to waddle around. New additions to the Club Penguin Island, will usually see this room first when they create their account. Hopefully, the Town will remain to be one of Club Penguin's most loved rooms. I also hope that the Town will always be great whatever happens to it...

My View
I like how Town is such a popular room with penguins as it gives the Town character. I also like the new renovation of the Town because it makes it more realistic and we can also see some jaw-dropping views from it as well!

Club Penguin: In Focus: Dance Club

...At the Dance Club in Club Penguin, we'll see a DJ called Cadence spinin' the tunes. But not many know, but Cadence was introduced to Club Penguin way back in 2009 for the Waddle-A-Thon! Since then, she's been singing songs, busting moves and even giving fashion advice! Cadence is personality is very energetic and hyper, and she's ready for what's coming! Cadence is most associated with by having a text speech vocabulary, she says many phrases like "LOL, EPIC WIN and GTG". We can even see the epic DJ in the game "Dance Contest" in the Dance Club by clicking on the table by the Dance Contest poster. Cadence is also a proud puffle owner of a purple puffle called "Lolz" who was named because she made Cadence LOL! Penguins can meet Cadence at the island's annual Music Jam. In June 2012, she started a career in singing with her debut single "The Party Starts Now!". The music video also starred her favourite place - the Dance Club! Most recently, Cadence added a black top to her appearance! Without Cadence, I don't think having a party would be that epic! I also don't think Club Penguin wouldn't be the same!...

My View
I love how hyper and energetic Cadence is, it really makes the party epic! I also like Cadence single "The Party Starts Now!" as it easily gets stuck in your head. I also like the dark top Cadence has recently added to her outfit as it really suits her!

Club Penguin: In Focus: Dance Club

Let's Focus on The Dance Club in Club Penguin...
Hello penguins! It's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus. This week's In Focus is about The Dance Club in Club Penguin...

Club Penguin: In Focus: Dance Club

...In Club Penguin, there is a building which can be found at The Town called the "Dance Club". At the Dance Club, you'll see many penguins busting a move on the dance floor, DJs mixing some tracks or even some penguins chilling out at the Sofa. In the Dance Club, there are also two games - DJ3K which can be played by clicking on the turn tables and Dance Contest which can be played by clicking on the table by the Dance Contest table. There is also a special catalog which members can buy records to use in the game "DJ3K". The Dance Club is also associated with Club Penguin's DJ - DJ Cadence. The Dance Club was featured in the music video of her debut single - "The Party Starts Now". The Dance Club has been a room in Club Penguin since it started in 2005 and even dates back to the days of Penguin Chat 3. In November 2012, the Dance Club was renovated to its design during the Ultimate Jam. The Dance Club is also home to the Keeper of the Boiler Room, who is above the secret entrance to the Boiler Room - which is underneath the Dance Club. Throughout its history, the Dance Club has been used to dance and hopefully it'll remain like that forever...

My View
I like to waddle to the Dance Club and boogie down! I love how there's so many things to do there! I also like the latest renovation of the Dance Club, as there's some table and chairs!
