One time my friend Nikki broke her index and middle fingers on her right hand. She refused to stay home from school, but she needed someone to help her write. Every single day for 2 weeks I wrote for her in class, we had the same schedule. I also had to do my own writing. She still thanks me to this day. I loved helping her, she's such a great friend!

Club Penguin Blog: Igloos Coming to My Penguin on iPad!

Hey Penguins!

Last week we revealed the epic news that My Penguin 1.2 is coming to iPad, with all-new 3D penguin avatars! Of course, penguins need a place to hang out... and what better place to hang out than your iggy? That's right, igloos are coming to the next version of My Penguin!!

Here's how it works: when you log into My Penguin on iPad, you'll see your igloo as it appears on clubpenguin.com. Re-decorating your igloo in My Penguin is super-fast, too -- thanks to an all-new touch interface that takes full advantage of the iPad! When you save your iggy design, it will appear on clubpenguin.com as well. Pretty cool, eh?

Just like on clubpenguin.com, you can invite your friends to check out your igloo or visit theirs. My Penguin has a brand new interface that lets you see a preview of igloos for easy browsing. It will make it so much faster to find igloo parties!

For those interested in our technology, My Penguin uses entirely new tech that will be the future foundation of Club Penguin. Servers will work a little differently. Instead of logging into a server, we will take you directly to the igloo you want to go to. If the iggy gets full, we will spin up another version of that igloo so that more people can join. This will be really handy for the most popular iggys. Now if we only had a jump feature... :-)

I like the map feature as it will make it easier to play the mini games and go to penguin's igloos - epic! I also like how they've made it easier for penguins to find igloo parties! Club Penguin Blog: VIDEO: New My Penguin Avatar Sneak Peek!

Hey Penguins!

Last Friday we debuted our sixth episode of #WaddleOn and many penguins told us that they noticed something…. different.

You guessed it – full 3D avatars are coming to My Penguin 1.2 for iPad!!

We've completely rebuilt the avatar from scratch to take full advantage of 3D. All your items from Club Penguin are available with this new 3D avatar. When you change your avatar on clubpenguin.com, your outfit will show in My Penguin, too! And if you change your outfit in My Penguin, you will be able to see it on the web. They are completely synched up so it's easy to go back and forth. We've also re-done all our animations in 3D!

Below is a video that gives you peek at how cool these animations look in 3D. The team worked on these for over a year and did an amazing job! You are going to have a ton of fun playing with all your special dance items and seeing the cool, new animations. Check it out:



In other news... this new avatar also gives us a LOT of opportunity down the road! I don't want to spoil it now, but let's just say that this will let us take animations, special dance items, and interaction with the world to an entirely new level!!

I hope you are as excited as I am about My Penguin 1.2! Pay attention to the blog for even more sneak peeks about what's next!

Wow! This looks epic! I cannot wait for this feature to arrive to the My Penguin app. It weird to see these penguins look completely different from the ones we see online! I also like how Club Penguin have added a white glow around a penguin's name - this will help penguins to see other penguin's names.

Club Penguin Blog: Snow is Coming...to iPad

Hello penguins! Recently, Spike Hike shared some "chilling" news about the next version of the My Penguin app on the Club Penguin Blog. Here is what Spike Hike posted...

It's been a massive month for Club Penguin. We released My Penguin on the iPad which over the weekend reached over 1 million downloads!! Thanks for making this such a success!! We also launched the long-awaited Card-Jitsu Snow and its been awesome to see so many of you having fun with it!! The game has been played over 40 million times already and we can see lots of Snow Ninjas walking around the island.

The Card-Jitsu Snow surprises aren't done yet... this Thursday, June 6th, we will have an all-new update to My Penguin that will include the entire Card-Jitsu Snow game. You can use My Penguin to join other Penguins in the game online! Pretty cool, huh?



But that's not all – we will also release the remaining levels of Pufflescape and Puffle Rescue!

So much awesome stuff is happening in Club Penguin right now…and much more to come in this SUMMER OF AWESOME!!!

My Penguin 1.1 Details

Hello penguins! Today a site called Babble which is run by Disney, who makes Club Penguin announced some details about the next version of the My Penguin App - 1.1...

Update – As if all of the goodness that is my original post (below) on My Penguin wasn’t enough, I’ve got an update! That’s right, penguins, the Club Penguin app is taking it up a notch and so can you!

The 1.1 update of My Penguin will launch June 6, and it will include the following new features:

* BATTLE IN THE ALL NEW Card-Jitsu Snow multiplayer ninja game—level up and defeat evil snowmen.

* SAVE MORE PUFFLES, avoid shockingly dangerous creatures, and discover the secret area in Puffle Rescue World 3.

* EXPLORE LEGENDARY LEVELS – 5 more! Plus, earn the giant O’berry in the Pufflescape game.

From this information from Babble's Post, we have learnt that Card-Jitsu Snow will be able to play, a new collection of levels on Puffle Rescue and the addition of 5 new levels of Pufflescape on the next version of the My Penguin app. We have also learnt that the next version will launch June 6 which is next Thursday! Hello penguins! Today Spike Hike made an interesting announcement about what's coming to Club Penguin in Summer 2013 on the Club Penguin Blog. Here is what he posted on the Club Penguin Blog... 

Hello Penguins!

I hope everyone is as excited about Card-Jitsu Snow and the Card-Jitsu Party as I am!

I want to let you all know that it's the kick-off of an AMAZING summer we have planned!

The team has some HUGE surprises for you! We have not one.... Not two… But THREE ALL-NEW parties over the next three months!! We will take you to new places… new worlds… even new dimensions no penguin has ever seen!!



And thanks again to everyone who helped make "My Penguin" a top iPad app around the world! We have even more planned for it, too!! I'm sworn to secrecy, but let me say that we will refuel a classic Club Penguin game... And we will bring even more to mobile that will make you feel right at home.

Thanks Spike Hike! Firstly, from the post above we have learnt that Club Penguin will be having three new parties! I wonder what they'll be! Maybe they'll be a Space Party with Rookie! Now that'll be fun! We could maybe discover a new room in Club Penguin. Unfortunately, we are now aware that there'll be no Music Jam this year, which is quite a shame as I was looking forward to meeting the Penguin Band and Cadence. Additionally, from the post above we have also learnt that Club Penguin will be updating the My Penguin App by adding a classic Club Penguin game, Jet Pack Adventure. To be honest, I love that Club Penguin are making new parties and I hope that they'll be great! What do you think about there being 3 new parties in Summer 2013? Club Penguin Blog: Mmmm Sushi!!!

Hello penguins, recently Spike has posted about an upcoming feature in the upcoming app - My Penguin, on the Club Penguin Blog. Here is what Spike Hike posted...

Since the announcement of My Penguin, many of you have commented on something unusual in the screenshot. What is this plate of sushi for?!!

Is it to feed your Penguin? Or your Puffle? Or something else entirely?

Well the secret is finally out!! Sushi Drop is a brand new game that is exclusive to My Penguin. When you use the app by reading the blog, watching a video, or playing a game, you get rewarded with sushi. The more you use My Penguin, the more sushi you can collect. Each piece of sushi gives you a turn in Sushi Drop. You can drop your sushi and nudge it by tapping to make bubbles in the water.

If you hit a fish on the way down, you earn coins. On the water's bottom, there are clams hungry to eat your sushi. (Wait, do clams eat sushi??!!) The bigger the clam, the bigger your reward.

You can earn coins and even items by playing, and the items you can win can are only available in Sushi Drop!! It's quick, fun, and a great way to earn rewards that you can use in Club Penguin!!

We can't wait for My Penguin to come out next week - May 9th - for iPad!! I know many of you are on iPhone, iPod Touch, or Android and we hope to get there one day soon. We have lots of surprises for mobile this year in store and this is only the beginning!!!
