Club Penguin Times Issue #446

The Club Penguin Times publish their 446th Issue
Hello penguins! Recently in Club Penguin, the Club Penguin Times have published their 446th issue. This post will go through the recent stories like Gary's trip to the future and a look back at Funny Hat Week, which are featured in this week's issue of the Club Penguin Times and also the upcoming events to which are coming to Club Penguin in the next few weeks or so...

Feature Story - Back from The Future!
This week's feature story is written by Gary is about his trip to the Future in Club Penguin. Let's have a look at it...

Club Penguin Times Back from The Future!
By Gary the Gadget Guy - Greetings 2014! I've just come back from the wondrous future. You won't believe what I saw. Space elevators, an alien zoo, and robot waiters. It was a scientastic trip!
Let's read more of this interesting story about Gary's trip the the future...
Traveling to the future was an illuminating experience. I met Gary 3000, who is me in the future  but different. Is that confusing? I confess I'm getting used to time travel quirks.

Regardless, he builds amazing gadgets that are used all over the galaxy.

The most impressive machines are the robos. These walking robot suits allow penguins to fly into orbit!

Gary 3000 invented them to defend against threats from outer space and other dimensions.

The pilots of these robos are the Extra-Planetary Federation. I didn't get to meet any of them though. They were rescuing alien creatures on planet Upzar II.

There's so much I could say about the future! Maybe you'll see for yourself soon.
Support Story - Hat's off to Hat Week
This week's Support Story is written by Rookie and is about looking back at Funny Hat Week in Club Penguin. Let's have a look at it...

Club Penguin Times Hat's off at Hat Week
By Rookie - Whoa! Did you guys see the funny hat week at the Dock?!

Those hats were HILARIOUS! I still can't get over the Mullet hat. BAHAHA! Just look at it... look at it!

Whew... okay. Aunt Arctic told me I should report this event, so I'm gonna report now.

The hat week wasn't just about bringing the funny. There were are categories for the fishiest hat, tastiest hat, and biggest hat!

It was crazy! I would have joined in but my hat is glued on so I don't lose it. Next time, I'm going to ask for a spinniest hat competition. I think I could so super well at that one!

What do you guys think? What kinds of hats do you wanna see more of?

The Cave Mine in Club Penguin has Collapsed!
Hello penguins! Recently in Club Penguin, the Cave Mine has collapsed due to the recent tremors of the Halloween Party 2013. Let's take a look at how the Cave Mini collapsing has affected the other rooms underground...

Club Penguin: The Cave Mine has Collapsed!
At the Mine, there are dark grey boulders blocking the usual entrance to the Cave Mine...

Club Penguin: The Cave Mine has Collapsed!

...at the Hidden Lake, there are dark brown rocks blocking the other entrance to the Cave Mine...

Club Penguin: The Cave Mine has Collapsed!

...the Cave Mine's collapse needs tidying up, so get your Jackhammer and start digging up the Cave Mine and hopefully we'll get the Cave Mine running as usual by next week...

Club Penguin: The Cave Mine has Collapsed!

Club Penguin Times: Issue #420

The Club Penguin Times release their 420th Issue
Hello penguins! Recently the Club Penguin Times released their 420th issue, well here's the latest news and stories from the Club Penguin Times...

Feature Story - Warning! Cave Mine Collapsed!
Now, this week's feature story is about the Cave Mine collapsing! Let's have a look at it...

Club Penguin Times

Let's read  this interesting feature story...
By Aunt Arctic - It looks like the damage from those tremors was worse than we thought. I'm very thankful no one was injured in this cave-in. The Cave Mine is completely buried, and it's all hands to the jackhammers as workers race to excavate it. When or if the Cave Mine can be restored is still in the question. However, there are unconfirmed reports a new discovery. There may be another cavern next to the Mine. We won't know for sure until some of the rubble is removed. but workers have reported a certain sparkle to the rocks that has all intrigued. If you would like to help, grab your hard hat, shovel, or even your pizza apron, and head to the Mine. I look forward to reporting on your progress soon.
Support Story - Pages from Garianna found after cave in
Now, this week's Support Story is pages from Garianna find in the Mine after the cave in of the Cave Mine. Let's have a look at it...

Club Penguin Times
By PH - Crikey! We found another hint about that elusive gold puffle, and I can't believe where it came from! I had a suspicion that Garianna had a gold puffle when I looked through her potion book. But these pages prove there's more! They look a lot like our puffle handbook from the Pet Shop. They're meant to teach owners how to care for their gold puffles! It turns out, just like a regular puffle after eating a gold O'berry, the gold puffle loves to find shiny stuff  We're putting the piece together, and I reckon I've got a plan to find the legendary puffle! A few page written but that magical sheila Garianna turned up when workers went to look at the Cave Mine collapse. Gary and I have been pouring over them, trying to figure out her notes.

Now, this week's Upcoming Events are very exciting! Let's have a look at them...

Club Penguin: In Focus: Everyday Phoning Facility

Let's Focus on the Everyday Phoning Facility in Club Penguin...
Hello penguins! It's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus. This week's In Focus is about the Everyday Phoning Facility in Club Penguin...

Club Penguin: In Focus: Everyday Phoning Facility

...The Everyday Phoning Facility is a room in Club Penguin which has been around since May 2010. After the Sports Shop was destroyed in early 2010, the Everyday Phoning Facility replaced it. Since it's creation, the Everyday Phoning Facility has been designed to call other penguins, and less commonly, to lure penguins in to become EPF Agents. The Everyday Phoning Facility didn't have much of a history, until November 2012, it was destroyed as part of Operation Blackout, and ever since August 2013 it was under construction. In the present day, the Everyday Phoning Facility has a completely brand new look! In the Everyday Phoning Facility, there are many desks with chairs and computers, a water dispenser with a fish in it, a coffee machine, a phone booth and most importantly a secret entrance - shhh! Penguins can access the Everyday Phoning Facility at the Ski Village. Penguins can also become EPF Agents in the Everyday Phoning Facility, which you can find out more here. Without the Everyday Phoning Facility, it would be very hard for penguins to become EPF Agents...

My View
I like the current design of the Everyday Phoning Facility as it looks like an office! I also like how it looks more undercover now, and this makes the EPF more secret! - shh!

Your Say
Now it's time for your say! What do you think of the Everyday Phoning Facility in Club Penguin? Have you ever had a nice memory in the Everyday Phoning Facility? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

The Construction at the Everyday Phoning Facility Completes
Hello penguins! This week, (unexpectedly) the constructions at the Everyday Phoning Facility completed! Let's have a look...

Construction at Everyday Phoning Facility - COMPLETED!

My View
I quite like the new design of the Everyday Phoning Facility because there are so many things to do. The old design of the Everyday Phoning Facility didn't have much in it. I also like how entrance to the EPF Command Room - it took me ages to find it! Is this hinting that the construction at the EPF Command Room is near to finishing!

Your Say

Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Preparations

Club Penguin prepares for upcoming Star Wars Takeover
Hello penguins! Club Penguin are preparing for the Star Wars Takeover, to mark the preparations many things have been added to rooms around Club Penguin...

The Death Star and Star Destroyers in the sky
Around the west side of the Club Penguin island, three mysterious objects can be seen in the sky...

Mysterious objects as seen from the Beach.
Mysterious objects as seen from the Ski Village.
Mysterious objects as seen from the Town.
Mysterious objects as seen from the Dock.
Mysterious objects as seen through the telescope at the Beacon.
Mysterious objects as seen from the Ski Hill.

...these mysterious objects seem to be two star destroyers (triangular-shaped objects) and the Death Star (circular-shaped object). From these mysterious objects, we can see that the Empire is not far away - look's like we're in a spot of trouble. But only if there was construction for the Rebel Alliance...

Millennium Platform Construction at Dock
Well, there is! At the Dock, some construction is going on to build a platform for the Millennium Falcon! Here's what the constructions looks like...

...hopefully, the construction will be finished by July 25 - when we battle the Empire. But will the galaxy be saved from the evil Darth Herbert?

My View
The preparations for this party really highlights the threat to Club Penguin, so us penguins must be strong in our battle to save the galaxy! This is really making me excited for the upcoming Star Wars Takeover. From the construction, the Star Wars Takeover looks really promising!

Everyday Phoning Facility Construction Progresses

Hello penguins! Recently, the construction at the Everyday Phoning Facility has progressed. So, me and my black puffle - Stealth went to investigate!

...from the Ski Village, we can see that the exterior of  the Everyday Phoning Facility has been updated. Here is a close up of a brand new exterior of the Everyday Phoning...

...if we look inside of the Everyday Phoning Facility, we can also see that it's been updated as well...

Avalanche at the Dojo

Hello penguins, many of you know that in Club Penguin there have been signs of snow. Recently this snow has triggered an avalanche, unfortunately this avalanche has hit the Dojo! Me and my white puffle "Flurry" went to the Dojo to find out more...

...at the Dojo Courtyard, we can see that most of the Dojo is covered in snow from the avalanche. The Red Ninja Gate has also be slightly inclined by the snow, the Fire, Water and Snow Dojos can be slightly seen behind the piles of snow. Is this a sign suggesting that the elements caused this avalanche? Maybe...

...at the Dojo Courtyard, we can also a tunnel which leads to the Ninja Hideout. Let's have a wonder in it...

...in the Ninja Hideout we can see a lot of snow on top of the roofs, we can also see that a fish gong has been removed from the roof. The fire in the lanterns on both sides of the Ninja Hideout have been extinguished.due to the melting snow. Let's make our way in the Dojo, maybe it'll be warmer in there...

...here in the Dojo we can see that there is table with refreshments on it for the ninjas shoveling out the snow on the Dojo. Let's make our way to the construction site in the bottom right corner of the Dojo.

...from the construction site, we can see that there are some plans to renovate the Dojo as it has been damaged by the avalanche. Hopefully, next week we'll get some progress on this...

...while waiting for next week, I'll help out the ninjas to remove the snow from the Dojo with my shovel.

I can't wait for Card-Jitsu Snow! From this avalanche, I'll assume that we're very close to training in it. What do you think about the avalanche hitting the Dojo? What do you think about the construction going on inside of the Dojo? Are you excited for Card-Jitsu Snow? Are you going to help Sensei by removing the snow from the Dojo? EPF Construction Progresses

Hello penguins! As many of you know, some construction has being going on at the EPF. Recently, this construction has significantly progressed. Unfortunately, the only place that the construction has progressed is in the EPF Command Room, here is what it looks like...

...in the EPF Command Room, we can see a temporary wooden structure where the old tube transport system used to be. Maybe a new transport system will be there soon? We can also see some more boxes and planks around the EPF Command Room as well. Additionally, we can see that the console on the right of the EPF Command Room has also been updated...

...the new console is designed to train EPF agents. It is called "Spy Drills, to find out more about it click here.

I hope that next week the EPF Command Room construction would have progressed even more, and elsewhere in the EPF. The EPF are going to have to rebuild very quickly, as there is a snowstorm coming to Club Penguin. What do you think of the progression of the construction at the EPF? Club Penguin EPF Command Room Construction Progress Sneak Peek

Hello penguins! On Club Penguin's Twitter account, Tour Guide - a member of the Club Penguin Team, tweeted a sneak peek of the EPF Command Room. Here is exactly what Tour Guide tweeted...
...attached to this tweet is a sneak peek of what the EPF Command Room will look like after this week's updates. Here is the sneak peek which was attached to Tour Guide's very revealing tweet...

...from the sneak peek above, we can see Tour Guide facing towards brand new screen which will probably be something similar to Field-Ops. From the left of the sneak peek above, we can see that construction has progressed and that from this we can see a wooden structure surrounding a renovated tube transport system.  I can tell that this structure won't be permanent as there is a construction sign which depicts a construction worker. Hopefully, this'll mean that the construction going on at the EPF will be finished very soon. What do you think of sneak peek above? Are you excited about the progression of construction at the EPF?
