Let's have a read of Franky's First Show...
Hello penguins! In this section, we'll be reading through the book "Franky's First Show". Let's have a read...

Club Penguin Books: Franky's First Show
This is what the front cover of Franky's First Show looks like...

Club Penguin Books: Franky's First Show
I awoke that day with a start. "Today is THE day," I said to myself. I chose my outfit and headed out the door into the crisp air to face the day. A dizzying buzz filled the air. The Western Party was only hours away from kicking up the dust, Penguins everywhere were jittery with excitement. I was the only one shaking in my boots. Nerves never did seem to get to G-Billy, Stompin' Boba and Petey K. They were filling up on fish pizzas. However, my nerves were too busy turning my stomach into knots to enjoy eating. It was the furthest thing from my mind. Why, you wonder? The day of my first show as guitarist with the band had arrived. Just a week ago I was giddy with excitement. A lot changes in a week...
Club Penguin Books: Franky's First Show
...Now all I could do was shake in my boots and try to undo the knots in my stomach. Stage fright can really throw a wrench into a good time. The Night Club was filling up with penguins hoping for a flipper-stomping good time of dancing with the return of the Penguin Band. I stood backstage, amazed at the size of the crowd. The rest of the band returned from their pre-show meal of fish pizza, excited to get things rolling...
Club Penguin Books: Franky's First Show
..."C'mon Franky, it's time to rock the house," Stompin' Bob said to me as he headed out on stage. I turned to G-Billy and said, "I can't do it. What if I sound horrible and mess everything up? There are so many penguins out there." G-Billy originally asked me to join the band as a guitar player. Stompin' Bob, Petey K and G-Billy were a tight band already and had played many shows together. So, when G-Billy asked me to be the fourth member of the band, you can imagine my surprise. In my excitement I gladly accepted right away without giving it much thought. I practiced with the band for a couple week. They were excited about finally having a guitar player and I was pumped about playing with a real band. But I never imagined I'd be so afraid the day the show arrived...
Club Penguin Books: Franky's First Show
...Afraid of doing everything wrong. Afraid of forgetting the songs. And afraid of letting the guys down. "There's nothing wrong with being afraid, Franky. I get afraid sometimes too." "But don't let it stop you. Stare it in the face. Waddle out onto that stage and play your heart out. I promise you'll have fun," G-Billy said. Stompin' Bob looked at me from the stage and gave me the biggest grin I've ever seen. G-Billy handed me my guitar and said "C'mon buddy, let's make 'em dance!" He walked out onto stage and I followed--it felt more like floating than walking. I've never floated before, but I imagine it feels a...

...lot like I did heading out onto that stage. I took a deep breath and before I could change my mind, G-Billy hit the snare drum and we were off. Stompin' Bob came in with his groovy bass line and then it happened. I played the first chord! The rest is history. We played all weeked and had a great time. I still get stage fright before shows, but now I know I can overcome it. All I have to do is walk on stage with my friends and play my guitar the best that I can.
My View
I like the plot of Franky's First Show, because it gives us an insight of how nervous the Penguin Band feel like before a show! I also like how Franky concerned his stage fright!

The Music Video for Cool in the Cold is mainly set in the Puffle Hotel. It shows several sneak peeks of the Puffle Hotel and the new puffle species - the Rainbow Puffle. The Music Video includes appearances from Cadence, the Penguin Band, Herbert and even Dubstep Puffle.

Plot
The Music Video starts with Stompin' Bob ripping of his sleeves from his T-Shirt, putting his guitar down and  picking up a Bling Bling Necklace. Then Stompin' Bob takes a waddle in the Plaza, then the camera zooms in on his hair - this is later revealed to be several puffles. A puffle owner feeding her puffle can then been seen, then several puffle owners with their puffles start waddling with Stompin' Bob. A penguin with a box in his head removes the box and another penguin dances with it - and flattens it. The penguin with the box his head the break dances on the flattened boxes. The puffle owners then throw their puffles in the air, our view then zooms out to reveal a Rainbow Puffle on a cloud - who then farts sparkles.

Lyrics
We're gonna heat things up here on the isle
Melt some ice and rock with style
Our funny, fuzzy friends with two eyes and a smile
Are ready for their close ups now

Everybody bring your best buddies along
Send a special request for your favorite song
When the DJ spins it
Come and watch us break it down

Take it back
And forth
And back again
You got your moves
For sure
So you gotta represent

Oh, oh, oh, oh... now it's their turn to party
(Their turn to party)
Oh, oh, oh, oh... yeah, let's give them a chance (These guys can dance!)
Oh, oh, oh, oh... turn it up, get it started
(Get it started)

Everyone knows

You gotta have a wingman

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh, oh, oh, oh

We can give puffle props, but that's not enough
We gotta throw our own party to show our love
Cuz penguins and puffles are total buds
That no one can come between

Show 'em off, like we ain't seen nothin' yet
They may not have feet, but they still dub step
Once to the right and twice to the left
The bounce around to this beat

Take it back
And fourth
And back again
Those puffles on the floor
Make it better times ten

Oh, oh, oh, oh... now it's their turn to party
(Their turn to party)
Oh, oh, oh, oh... yeah, let's give them a chance (These guys can dance!)
Oh, oh, oh, oh... turn it up, get it started
(Get it started)

Everyone knows

You gotta have a wingman
