Daffodaily5 features Luellatrack as Penguin of the Day on the Club Penguin Blog
Hello penguins! Today Daffodaily5 featured Luellatrack as Penguin of the Day on the Club Penguin Blog. Here is what Daffodaily5 posted on the Club Penguin Blog...

Club Penguin Blog: Penguin of the Day: Luellatrack

Hiya!

Luellatrack is always giving her pals inspiration to look for puffle treasure, which is super helpful! My puffle, Blossom, often gets distracted by flowery things when she should be digging... She’s too much like her owner ;)

Great Job Luellatrack! It's great that you give other penguins about puffle treasure! As it can be quite hard to find. I also like how you're a elf-witch - very medieval! I also like your igloo which is also quite medieval! Awesome!

Club Penguin Blog: Month in Review: August 2013

Polo Field reviews the month of August in Club Penguin on the Club Penguin Blog
Hello penguins! As it's almost the end of August, Polo Field has decided to post a review of the whole month in Club Penguin on the Club Penguin Blog. Let's have a look at what he posted...

Club Penguin Blog: Month in Review: August 2013
It's time for another Month in Review, last time we asked for a time when you have gone above and beyond for a friend.

I really liked Joey23451's answer:

One time my friend Nikki broke her index and middle fingers on her right hand. She refused to stay home from school, but she needed someone to help her write. Every single day for 2 weeks I wrote for her in class, we had the same schedule. I also had to do my own writing. She still thanks me to this day. I loved helping her, she's such a great friend!

Great response Joey23451!

Club Penguin Blog: Month in Review: August 2013

Now, here are some highlights of August:

  • Star Wars - Death Star and Tatooine Quests
  • August Clothing Catalog
  • August Furniture Catalog
  • Puffle Digging - Favorite Foods
  • Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam Party
  • My Penguin Update

We'll pick one comment to feature in the next Reviewed by You. If your review is featured, we'll add 10,000 coins to your account. Don't forget to use your penguin name so we can add the coins! Looking forward to reading all your comments!

Club Penguin Blog: Introducing Puffle Favorite Foods!

Polo Field posts about Puffle Favorite Foods on the Club Penguin Blog
Hello penguins! Today Polo Field posted about Puffle Favorite Foods on the Club Penguin Blog. Let's find out more about Puffle Favorite Foods...

Club Penguin Blog Post
Hello Penguins!

It's been great seeing so many penguins taking their puffles for walks. Now I've got some big news about puffle digging for members! Starting August 15, your puffle will be able to dig up their favorite food.

Here's the best part... when your puffle eats their favorite treat, all their stats will go up to 100%!

Club Penguin Blog: Introducing Puffle Favorite Foods!

Tip: The higher your puffle's stats, the more likely they are to dig up more coins? W00t!

What food do you think your puffles will dig up?

Waddle on!

-Club Penguin Team
My View
Thanks Polo Field! I think Puffle Favorite Foods are a great idea! I also think Puffle Favorite Foods will also encourage penguins to make their puffles to dig. It also makes it easier for puffle owners to care for their puffles. Since the major puffle update in March 2011, I've always wanted to get all the bars to be full - but could never get them all full!

Great post Polo Field! I quite like the idea of a monthly review of Club Penguin on the Club Penguin Blog as it allows players to say what they think! July was a quite eventful month in Club Penguin, most significantly - the release of the Club Penguin University. In the upcoming months, I hope to see an awesome Summer Party with DJ Cadence and the Penguin Band and the return of The Fair in September.

Club Penguin Puffle Digging Guide

Club Penguin: How to get your Puffle digging for coins and rare items
Hello penguins! Recently, another puffle discovery has been made - Puffle Digging! In the guide below I'll give you some tips on how to get your puffle digging for coins and rare items. Firstly, before we start getting your puffle to dig - you need to make sure you have adopted a puffle at the Pet Shop

Digging for Coins (Everyone)

Club Penguin Puffle Digging Guide
For this guide, every penguin who owns a puffle can follow it.

Firstly, select one of your puffles to go on a walk by using the puffle lead option in the "Play" category when you click on your puffle in your igloo - like this...

Club Penguin Puffle Digging Guide

...once you have done this, use the map and click on any room to start your walk with your puffle...

Club Penguin Puffle Digging Guide

...now it's time to start your walk, so start waddling with your puffle from room to room - this method is most effective in getting coins. After a while, a pop-up like this will appear showing you that your puffle has found a certain amount of coins...

Club Penguin Puffle Digging Guide

...there is no fixed way of getting coins - it is completely random and could happen at any time. There is also no fixed amount of coins for rooms and species of puffle - it's just a matter of luck if you get a high amount of coins in one dig through Puffle Digging.

Digging for Rare Items (Members)

Club Penguin Puffle Digging Guide
For this guide, every member penguin who owns a puffle can follow it.

Like seen above, select one of your puffles and use the puffle lead feature under the category of "Play". Like below...

Club Penguin Puffle Digging Guide

...if you have done this correctly, your puffle should be next to you. Once you have finished this step select a room to go to - this is where your puffle walk will start...

Club Penguin Puffle Digging Guide

...the next step requires you and your puffle to waddle from room to room. Over time, your puffle will find a rare item - however your puffle digging for rare items is less likely than your puffle finding coins which makes collecting rare items through Puffle Digging quite hard. Getting rare items through Puffle Digging requires patience and activity (e.g. waddling, waving, dancing). If you do eventually get a rare item a pop-up like this will appear from the top of your screen...

Club Penguin Puffle Digging Guide

...there is no fixed way of getting a certain rare item - it is completely random and could happen at any time. There is also no fixed rare item for rooms and species of puffle - it's just a matter of luck if you get a rare item through Puffle Digging.

My View
I think that Puffle Digging is a great feature for puffles, as it encourages puffle owner to give them a walk. Puffle Digging is beneficial to the puffle owners as well as the puffles, many puffle owners are rewarded! Which is awesome!

Your Say
Now it's time for your say? What do you think of Puffle Digging? What's the highest amount of coins you have got through Puffle Digging in one dig? What's the best rare item you have got from a dig through Puffle Digging? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.
