Information
The Mine Shack is a room is Club Penguin which is located on the right side of the Club Penguin island. In Club Penguin, the Mine Shack is a room where penguins as they can meet their buddies or other penguins to attend the University, explore the mines, play volleyball or make their way to the Dojo. The Mine Shack is well known for the two buildings which are in it: the University and the Mine Shack. From the Mine Shack, penguins can waddle to the Forest, University, Dojo Courtyard as well as the Mine.
History
The Mine Shack has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2006, making it quite an old room in Club Penguin. In 2010,the Recycling Plant was added the Mine Shack as part of the Earth Day Party 2010, after the party was finished, the Recycling Plant remained in the Mine Shack. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Mine Shack has been a set for a music video for the Ultimate Jam in 2012, and has been stony and scary environment which housed a scarier castle for the Halloween Party 2013. In 2013, the Mine Shack received a major graphical design to its current design adding a path to the Dojo Courtyard, however the Recycling Plant was removed and the University replaced it.

The Mine Shack is a room is Club Penguin which is located on the right side of the Club Penguin island. In Club Penguin, the Mine Shack is a room where penguins as they can meet their buddies or other penguins to attend the University, explore the mines, play volleyball or make their way to the Dojo. Trivia
- In November 2013, the mine cart coming from the Mine Shack was removed and an entrance to the Mine was added.
- The Mine Shack used to be hidden room before 2008.
- After the Mine Shack design was updated in 2010, there was a Herbert statue could be seen at the Mine Shack. The Herbert statue was used to block a geyser, which appeared in Herbert's Revenge (a DS game).
- In 2010, a pathway from the Forest was added to the Mine Shack, which could be located in the bottom-left corner.
My View
I like that the Mine Shack has been changed massively over the years, from an abandoned mine to a place where penguins can attend school, plant crops, explore the mine and much more. I also like how Club Penguin have added a university to the Mine Shack as well, I think it's great that penguins can learn in Club Penguin!
