Club Penguin Blog: Coming Soon: Coins For Change 2012!

Hello Penguins! Today Polo Field posted about this year's Coins for Change event on the Club Penguin Blog, here is what it says...
Hello Penguins!

Only a few days let until December... Which means it’s almost time for our annual Coins For Change event!

Every year the Club Penguin community helps us decide how we divide up a significant donation to worthy causes around the world. For this year's Coins For Change, we're giving $1 million USD!

There will be three different causes to choose from:
  • Provide Medical Help
  • Protect the Earth
  • Build Safe Places

Tell us which cause you're most passionate about by leaving a comment. We love hearing from you!

Waddle On!

-Club Penguin Team
Thanks Polo Field! From the sneak peek above, we can see the Bakery from last year's Holiday Party in a different place, the Snow Forts. It also looks like the Bakery will be linked in with Coins for Change some how. Next to the Bakery, we can see an Icy Portal which could take us an Icy World with an Icy Palace. We can also see Polo Field sharing his appreciation for cookies with a brand new emote! I'm very excited to see what this year's Coins for Change event has for us penguins. The cause I'm most passionate about is Protect the Earth because so much of our environment is being destroyed by industry, I also want to help poor endangered species from dying out. What cause are you most passionate about? Are you excited about Coins for Change? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Club Penguin Blog: Official Club Penguin Annual 2013 available in the UK!

Hello Penguins, Today Daffodaily5 posted about the Official Club Penguin Annual 2013 being available in the UK on the Club Penguin Blog, here is what it says...
Hiya!

Daffo here. I just wanted to tell all you UK players out there that this year's Official Club Penguin Annual is out in the shops now!

I was just having a look through it myself and I was happy to see that it's got a load of puzzles and quizzes, including a cool Secret Agent Exam (obviously I got all the questions right… well, almost). My favourite bit was probably designing my own EPF scene - I love drawing!

It’s available to buy now from WHSmith and other bookshops in the UK. Keep your eye out for the special unlock-able items for your penguin…

Let me know what you think about the annual in the comments below!

Waddle on!

- Club Penguin Team
Thanks Daffodaily5! I can't wait to buy this or maybe somebody may buy this for me for Christmas. I can't wait to unlock some special EPF items, I wonder what they are? The Official Club Penguin Annual 2013 will definitely test true EPF agents about EPF knowledge. Hopefully, I'll buy the Official Club Penguin Annual 2012 and find out if I'm a true EPF agent. Holiday Party 2012 Log Off Screen

Hello Penguins, As I logged out of Club Penguin today, I saw a brand new 'chilling' log off screen for upcoming Holiday Party, here is what it looks like...

...from the log off screen above, we can see an 'Ice' penguin freezing a reindeer puffle in an icy cavern. We can also see the tagline "Members, Freeze Your Friends" which could suggest that member penguins will have the ability to freeze their buddies by wearing an 'Ice' penguin costume. We can also see that along with the new chilling Holiday Party logo that the Holiday Party will begin on December 20th. I can't wait for the new puffle hat in the log off screen above to be released, it looks awesome! I can also see that the reindeer puffle is giving out a new emote, is this hinting that a new emote will be coming soon? I also can't wait to find out more about the icy experience which comes with this year's Holiday Party. What do you think of this log off screen? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

The New Pin is called the First Aid Pin and it is located at Mine...

Club Herbert Times Issue #371

Hello Penguins, Today a new issue of the Club Penguin Herbert Times was released...

This week's Feature Story is about Herbert's plan failing. It says;

Is Herbert's Plan Failing?
The Illustrious Leader Supreme was unavailable for comment.
Author Classified-Where is Herbert? Have his plans hot a speed bump? Are the EPF causing trouble behind the scenes? Those are the unanswered questions, as Herbert's power seems to be slipping.
Want to Read More of this Feature Story? Look Below.
A group of concerned citizens found the Newsroom abandoned this week, with the newspaper only half written. They worked together to finish writing it. "Yo check it peeps, this Herbert guy's a MAJOR drag." said one unnamed help. "And his plan's going down! Operation fail!" "That polar bear is grumpier than a mullet at a ballet recital." said an anonymous construction worker. "And this Blackout is a finished as a grilled cheese sandwich at midnight." "Though darkness is deep, where there is bravery, light will always shine through." said the mysterious leader of the group. "Be brave, Agents of Elite. We are behind you. Club Penguin will be free."
This week's Support Story is about the EPF Resistance rising. It says;

Resistance Rises
At least one agent is proving too clever for Herbert.
Author Classified-EPF agents are going missing. The temperature is dropping to dangerous levels. But there is hope. The EPF resistance continues to fight. And at least one agent seems to have Herbert nervous. At his fancy party, Herbert P. Bear was overheard yelling. "What?! There are still agents on the loose? Wait...THAT agent is still on the loose!?" "UNACCEPTABLE! We've caught EVERYONE ELSE! The entire EPF Leadership is in my clutches! Do I have to hunt down that agent myself?!" "FIND THEM! You KNOW what they can do. That agent is as dangerous as the Director!!" "Do not rest until you have them! NOW GO!" Club Penguin's darkest hour has come. Will the EPF prevail?
This week's Upcoming Events are...

Dec. 6 Penguin Style?- New fashions are ready to hit the stands... Will Herbert allow them?

Dec. 6 Snow and Sports- Check out the latest in sportswear... If Herbert hasn't banned them.

Dec. 13 Furniture Catalog?- New furniture coming... unless Herbert burns it for firewood.

On Now! Blackout- Is the Blackout ending? Can the EPF defeat Herbert?

Pins are back! Hidden now until December 12. Next pin hidden: December 13-26

What are you looking forward to? What's your favourite part of the this week's issue of the Club Penguin Herbert Times? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Club Penguin Cool in the Cold Music Video

Hello Penguins, Today Club Penguin released the music video for Cool in the Cold on their YouTube channel, here it is...

Wow! That is truly one cool music video! It also give us a few hints of what's to come for the Holiday Party. Here are some interesting things I found in the music video above...

Cadence and the Penguin Band "Cool in the Cold" Song Available on iTunes
The Snowflake Formation.
Cadence and Friends skate around the Ice Rink.
Businesmoose and Polo Field make an appearance.
'Ice' Penguin makes a chilling appearance.
The Skating Penguins are affected by the 'Ice' Penguin.
Cadence, the 'Ice' Penguin and the Skating Penguins link flippers.
Cadence plays the Ice Rink like a record.
Hmm... I wonder what the 'Ice' Penguin is about, does he have the ability to freeze penguins? I love the Businesmoose and Polo Field have made an appearance in this music video, like Happy77 in The Party Starts Now! This music video also ignites the Holiday Spirit into me. I wonder what this year's Holiday Party will bring. What do you think of this music video? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Card-Jitsu Snow is either very close, or quite far away. What do you think about Card-Jitsu Snow being released in 2013? Share us your thoughts by leaving comment below.

Club Penguin Blog: Fun Stuff Update - PSA Mission Archive

Hello Penguins, Today Polo Field posted about the future of the EPF on the Club Penguin Blog, here is what says...
Greetings Agents.

As many of you know, Herbert P. Bear has destroyed the EPF Headquarters, along with the VR Room.

I can't say too much yet, but the team's got some big ideas for the EPF in the future (Stay tuned to the blog and I'll update you when I have more information).

We know how much you guys love the PSA Missions and wanted to make sure you're able to access them. We'll be adding the old PSA Missions soon to the Fun Stuff section, so you can play them if you want.

What’s your favorite PSA Mission? Let us know us know what you like best about your favorite mission by leaving a comment below.

Until then... Waddle On, Agents! :)

-Club Penguin Team
Thanks Polo Field! My favorite mission would have to be Questions for a Crab because it's the first time we see Herbert. I like that we'll be able to play PSA missions on the Club Penguin website because it could allow new mission to take its place. I wonder if Polo Field will ever tell us more about the future of the EPF. I can't wait for this update to take place. What about you? What do you think about the PSA missions being moved to the Club Penguin website? What's your favorite PSA mission? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

BAFTA Kids' Vote Results 2012

Hello Penguins! Today the results of the BAFTA Kids' Vote were announced! Just like last year, Club Penguin was a nominee of the Web Category. Here are the results...

...Wow! Congratulations Bin Weevils! You deserve it! Such a shame, I thought Club Penguin would win this year because of extravagant experiences like the Halloween Party and Operation Blackout. Better luck next year! Anyway, I would also like to congratulate Moshi Monsters and CBBC, they are both brilliant as well. Maybe Club Penguin will do better next year! What do you think of the results of the BAFTA Kids' Vote? Do you think Club Penguin could of done any better? Share us your thought by leaving a comment below.

Club Penguin Blog: Operation Blackout Breaks Records!

Hello Penguins! Today Spike Hike posted about Operation Blackout breaking the record traffic on the Club Penguin Blog, here is what it says...
Hey there, Penguins!

Big news! With all the excitement for Operation Blackout and the epic finale launching today, we've had over 1.8 million Penguins log in during the last 24 hours - a new record! Club Penguin is bigger than ever, and we couldn't have done it without you guys!

For those who haven't logged in yet, we still need your help to defeat Herbert. Gear up in your Lava Boots and help us take him down. There are rumors going around that if you help defeat Herbert, the Director will reveal his identity to you. Or is it her identity?

With the record traffic, I know some people have seen some glitches today. Sorry about that. The team are all over it and should have them all fixed soon. Thanks for hanging in there.

Thanks again for making this happen!

Until next time... Waddle On!

-Spike Hike and the Club Penguin Team
Thanks Spike Hike! Wow 1.7 million! That's a lot of penguins! I would like to say congratulations to the Club Penguin Team for breaking their record traffic. Club Penguin wouldn't be the same without to the Club Penguin Team, who create experiences such as Operation Blackout. Although there was a glitch yesterday, the Club Penguin Team were quick to respond and fixed the glitch in no time! If you haven't logged in yet, make sure you defeat Herbert or the island might stay the way it is forever! The more EPF agents which defeat Herbert, the more likeliness Herbert will retreat. Anyway, Congratulations Club Penguin, I hope that Club Penguin will get more popular in the near future! What do you think about Operation Blackout breaking records? Spike Saturday - 24/11/12

Update: Spike Saturday is now over!

Hello Penguins! Today as it is Saturday. Spike Hike celebrated Spike Saturday on the server Fog with his buddies. Luckily, I was able to go to Spike Saturday. Spike showed us how much of an EPF agent he is by decorating his igloo with spy themed furniture! Here is what it looked like...

...it looked so cool! It seems that this Spike Saturday has made me embrace Spike Hike more into the Club Penguin Community. It also seems that Spike Hike loves to interact with other penguins! That's what makes him great! Hopefully next Spike Saturday will be even more fun! I can't wait! Did you go to this week's Spike Saturday? What do you think of this week's Spike Saturday? Hello Penguins! Today Club Penguin reached it's highest traffic ever! Here is what Spike Hike had to say about the recording breaking traffic...

...Thanks Spike Hike! Congratulations to the whole of the Club Penguin Team for hitting their record breaking traffic! Without the whole of the Club Penguin Team, Club Penguin wouldn't be as great as it is today! Hopefully we can also celebrate that Club Penguin is free from the clutches of Herbert P. Bear! I hope that Club Penguin will get more popular as the days go on. Are you going to Spike Hike's party to celebrate Club Penguin hitting record breaking Traffic? Covert Agent Station Not Available Glitch

Update: This Glitch is Fixed and you can get the Covert Agent Station.

Hello Penguins, Today I finished Chapter 6 of Operation Blackout. When I finished Chapter 6, a pop-up like this appeared...

...which says...
You have found a Covert Agent Station. Would you like to pick it up?
Unfortunately, if you click on the 'Yes' button, a pop-up like this will appear...

...which says...
This item is not currently available.
This glitch is very annoying as you can only collect a Covert Agent Station after finishing Operation Blackout.   What also makes this glitch worse, is that the Covert Agent Station is also available to non-members, non-members don't usually get the chance to have furniture items such as the Covert Agent Station Hopefully this glitch will be fixed by the time Operation Blackout is finished, or penguins may never get the Covert Agent Station. Remember to report back right here, for further updates about this specific glitch. What do you think of this glitch? Do you want to get the Covert Agent Station? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Video: Herbert Style!

Hello Penguins! As Polo Field promised, Club Penguin released a new video to their YouTube Channel...

http://www.clubpenguin.com/ Herbert P. Bear has finally taken over Club Penguin! He's obviously excited about his victory over the Elite Penguin Force.
...Wow! Excellent Job Club Penguin! This video is awesome! I didn't know Herbert was such a good dancer. I think this is the first time I've seen Herbert happy, it's nice to see that Herbert with a different personality. This video is very fun to watch and the music is very catchy, I wonder if 'll be even more successful than Dubstep Puffle. I love this video and I hope Club Penguin make more videos like this. Polo Field's Blog: Reviewed by You and New Video Soon

Hello Penguins! Today Polo Field posted a new post about the future of reviewed by you and a new video soon on his blog, here is what it says...
I’ve been asked a few questions about Reviewed By You lately. Some of you said that you liked them. My question is… What did you like best about them?

Was it being featured on the blog?
Was it the fact that you could discuss something out of the ordinary? (something different than the game, for example.)
Was it the chance to receive a coin prize?

Let me know if you’d like to read more RBY posts in the future, and what topics you’d be interested in talking about in the future!

In other news… We just finished a little video for you. Moose just sent me it, and we should have it up by tomorrow. You’ll see!!
...Thanks Polo Field! I loved Reviewed by You because it allowed penguins to feel they were special by being featured on the Club Penguin Blog. I would love their to be a Reviewed by You about the EPF. I would also love for their to be a coin prize for being featured on the Club Penguin Blog. Hello Penguins! Today Polo Field posted sneak peeks of what's new in December 2012 on the Club Penguin Blog, here is what it says...
Hello Penguins!

I love this time of year! December is just around the corner, which means it’s almost time for Club Penguin’s annual Holiday Party. And this year the team's been working hard to make the party better than ever before!

See if you can guess what's coming from these picture clues:

Leave us your guesses in the comments below!

Until then... Waddle On!

-Club Penguin Team
Thanks Polo Field! I think that the picture on the left looks like something to do with racing (hence the racing pattern) I think that the middle picture is a sneak peek of a Holiday Party Room (maybe an Ice Palace) and I think that the picture on the right looks like something to do with the December Penguin Style Catalog, it also looks like the Reindeer Costume will be making another appearance in the Penguin Style Catalog. I can't wait for December, from the sneak peek above, I can assume that next month is going to be frozen and festival. What do you think are in the pictures above? Are you excited for December 2012?
