Club Penguin: EPF Message from Gary - 06/02/14

Gary sends EPF Agents a message about the effects of present day Club Penguin from time travel
Hello penguins! As Club Penguin has updated recently, it's about time that somebody sent us an EPF message to our EPF Spy Phones. This week, it's the turn of Gary and he has sent us an EPF message about how the present day Club Penguin has been affected by time travel. Let's have a look at the EPF message from Gary...

Club Penguin: EPF Message from Gary - 06/02/14
Club Penguin: EPF Message from Gary - 06/02/14

...here is what Gary said...
Our trip to the past was a success! The Forest changed but didn't have any negative effects. We'll need to observe the Iceberg for changes still.
My View
Thanks for this interesting message Gary! I will make sure to see if there are any negative affects on the Iceberg in present day Club Penguin.

Club Penguin: Shark disappears from Prehistoric Iceberg!

The shark trapped in the Iceberg in Prehistoric Club Penguin vanishes!
Hello penguins! For the past week in Prehistoric Club Penguin, a shark has been trapped in the Iceberg. However, this week, this shark has mysteriously disappeared! Find out more by reading below...

Club Penguin: Shark disappears from Prehistoric Iceberg!
Me and my black t-rex puffle "Rex" investigated the Prehistoric Iceberg, and have spotted that the shark has seemed to disappear!

Club Penguin: Shark disappears from Prehistoric Iceberg!

...thought that was weird? Well, you'll never guess where the shark turned up? Swimming near the Iceberg in present-day Club Penguin!

Club Penguin: Shark disappears from Prehistoric Iceberg!

My View
Wow! I would have never expected that the shark would disappear and then turn up in the present-day Club Penguin! This has made me think of the effect on present-day Club Penguin of time travelling to Prehistoric Club Penguin. I wonder how this shark will get back to Prehistoric Club Penguin. I would also like to say that what will happen to the present-day Iceberg as it has a massive chunk missing from it, which means that the Iceberg is weak and could maybe even crack, so penguins keep your drilling to a minimum!

Your Say

Club Penguin Times: Issue #432

The Club Penguin Times publish their 432nd Issue
Hello penguins! Recently in Club Penguin, the Club Penguin Times have published their 432nd issue. This post will go through the recent stories featured in the Club Penguin Times and the upcoming events to hit Club Penguin...

Feature Story - Dino Puffles Roam Again!
Now, this week's feature story is about dino puffles roaming in present day Club Penguin. Let's have a look at it...

Club Penguin Times
By Gary - Well done time travelers! We've already reintroduced three species of dino puffles. What's next?
Let's read more of this interesting feature story...
Everyone is doing a superb job in prehistoric Club Penguin. Dino puffles are getting a warm welcome into the present. And in the past, Garugg keeps yelling, "TIKI TIKI" when I ask how the puffles are doing. He's very excited about the first sightings of the red triceratops puffle. We need to find them all before Feb. 5. All this traveling is fun, but it will not go on forever. The risk of causing unintended changes to the present is too great. The Time Trekker will be relocated back to my lab. So let's dig while we can!
Support Story - Introducing Darwin!
Now, this week's Support Story is Gary introducing his blue triceratops dino puffle called Darwin. Let's have a look at it...

Club Penguin Times
By Gary - Greetings! Id' like to introduce you to Darwin. He is a blue triceratops puffle! Now that I own a puffle, I see the appeal. He's splendifirous! I know quite a bit about dinosaurs (did you know triceratops means 'three-horned face?'), but now I'm researching puffles. PH told me they're very active, so I walk him a lot. But, he also gets mental exercise in my lab! He's an excellent lab assistant. Well, he like pushing over beakers and chewing on gadgets. I'll have him helping me with the next 3000 device soon!
Upcoming Events - Island Rumors
Now, this week's Upcoming Events section of the Club Penguin Times is a bit different. This week's Upcoming Events section is about rumors about the effects of time travel on the island...

Club Penguin Times
By Aunt Arctic - Hello everyone. I've been hearing rumors of something swimming near the Iceberg. Something big. Maybe Gary's warnings about time travel were right. Changes in the past may have changed our present-day Iceberg. I'll be keeping a close eye on this story. Please write in to the paper if you see anything suspicious!

Find the collectible pin! Hidden now until February 5. Next pin hidden: February 6 - 19
My View
I loved reading the stories from this week's issue of the Club Penguin Times! My favourite story from this week's Club Penguin Times, was Gary introducing his new puffle called Darwin, as it was nice that Gary was excited to adopt his first puffle! The upcoming events section from this week's issue of the Club Penguin Times also made me think of the bad effects of time traveling, and I wonder what will happen to the present-day Iceberg as a result of this.

Club Penguin Rooms: The Iceberg

Let's explore and find out more about one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the Iceberg...
Hello penguins! In this post, we'll be exploring one of Club Penguin's many rooms, the Iceberg. Below you'll find information, history and even some trivia on the Iceberg in Club Penguin. Let's get started...

Club Penguin Rooms: The Iceberg
Club Penguin Rooms: The Iceberg

Information

The Iceberg is a room is Club Penguin which is located floating near the right side of the Club Penguin Island. In Club Penguin, Iceberg is a quiet room with penguins as it's a good place for penguins to look at the view of the Club Penguin Island. The Iceberg is also well known for being home of the game "Aqua Grabber", which penguins can play by clicking the Aqua Grabber sub. Penguins also like to come to the Iceberg to try to tip it, although it has never been done, penguins still attempt it to find out what is underneath it. From the Iceberg, penguins can't really waddle to any other room as the Iceberg can only be accessed from the Map.

History
The Iceberg has been part of Club Penguin's history since it was introduced in 2006 and is quite an old room. In 2008, the Aqua Grabber sub was added to the Iceberg. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Iceberg has been a pumpkin as part of the Halloween Party 2010 and has been a ball pit as part of The Fair 2012. Iceberg is one of the only rooms in Club Penguin which hasn't received a major graphical update since it was released in 2006.

Trivia
  • When most of the Club Penguin rooms were updated in 2012 and 2013, the Iceberg wasn't changed making it popular with penguins who prefer 'classic' Club Penguin.
  • The Iceberg is the only permanent room which isn't located in Club Penguin.
  • The Iceberg is regularly decorated for parties and events in Club Penguin.
  • There is a huge prehistoric shark frozen in the Iceberg.
My View
I like how the Iceberg can be a quiet room sometimes, and then can also be noisy room when penguins are attempting to tip it. I also like how the Iceberg can only be accessed through the Map, making it a secret room to some penguins.

Your Say
Now it's time for your say! What do you think of the Iceberg in Club Penguin? What do you like about the Iceberg in Club Penguin? Select your reaction of this post below and share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Hello Penguins!

Here at Club Penguin, we are always looking for a good party! It's true, we LOVE celebrating whenever we get the chance. Some of you may have seen the fireworks already and are wondering why. To celebrate of course!

In some places around the world, the Festival of Lights is celebrated with the lighting of fireworks and sparklers that light up the night sky. So we added some fireworks to Club Penguin!

Club Penguin: Firework Displays over the Island

Over Club Penguin, many Firework Displays are taking place
Hello penguins! Recently, many firework displays around the island have been taking place. The reason for the firework displays over the island is to celebrate the occasion called the "Festival of Lights".

Club Penguin: Firework Displays over the Island
As Firework Displays are occurring around the island, there are a lot of fireworks which can be seen from the sky. Apparently, there have also been some sightings of fireworks in some rooms in Club Penguin. Firstly, let's check out the fireworks at the Ski Hill...

Club Penguin: In Focus: Iceberg

Let's Focus on the Iceberg near Club Penguin...
Hello penguins! It's time for a new Club Penguin: In Focus. This week's In Focus is about the Iceberg near Club Penguin...

Club Penguin: In Focus: Iceberg

...The Iceberg is a room near Club Penguin which has been around since 2006. Since its introduction to Club Penguin, the Iceberg has been secretly hidden from penguins on the map, at this moment in time, the Iceberg is the only room in Club Penguin to intentionally be hidden. The Iceberg is also the only permanent room to not actually be in Club Penguin, but near it. In 2008, the Iceberg gained a game called "Aqua Grabber" which can be played by click on the Aqua Grabber sub by the top-right corner of the Iceberg. The Iceberg is also rumoured to tip when a large amount of penguins drill with jackhammers, but so far The Iceberg hasn't tipped. Throughout the Iceberg's history, the Iceberg has been many things ranging from a pumpkin for the Halloween parties and a Ball Pit for The Fair parties. The Iceberg is also one of the only rooms to remain with it's original design since its release. Without the Iceberg, there wouldn't be many penguins teaming up to tip it, and no where to relax and enjoy the view of the island of Club Penguin.

My View
I like how the Iceberg brings penguins together to tip it - great teamwork. I also like how relaxing the Iceberg is than other rooms in Club Penguin.

Your Say
Now it's time for your say! What do you think of the Iceberg near Club Penguin? Have you ever had a nice memory at the Iceberg? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Foreword: This book contains the winning stories of the third ever Club Penguin Writing Contest that took place in July 2009. Many penguins from around the world submitted stories and four winners were chosen. Congratulations to Chewydr, Pamelin40, Myndynha and 4884lune for their excellent stories...

Club Penguin Books: Penguin Tales: Volume 3
...It was a cold, but great day for adventure. I wanted to explore today, so I waddled to the Iceberg. When I got there, I saw thirty other penguins dancing on the corner of the. 'berg. They were all blue. "What are you doing?" I asked. "We are trying to tip the Iceberg!" one penguin responded. "But... why are you all blue?" I asked. "Because blue is a cool color... I guess!" a different penguin answered. "Can I join?" I asked politely. "Yeah, sure!" they said. "We need all the help we can get!" So, I turned blue and started dancing. Many penguins took out jackhammer and started drilling. More and more penguins turned blue and started...

...hopping and break-dancing. Then I started to worry about actually tipping the Iceberg. I've never seen it do that before. What would happen? As I got more and more worried about it, I stopped dancing and waddled very carefully. There were tons of blue penguins in the way, so that slowed me a lot. Before I got out of the crows, I started to feel the ground rumbling. I saw the tip of the Iceberg sinking and the opposite side rising. The Iceberg was tipping... and sinking! ...'berg in time. We started falling off and splashing into the sea. We all could swim well, but it would be a very long way to swim back. "Okay, guys!" I started, "if we stay on the surface, we'll be okay!" "What if we never get home?!" one penguin cried. "We're doomed!" another penguin added. We stayed in the same place arguing for ten minutes. But then... something lucky happened. A boat came by! It was the Hydro Hopper. All of us cheered as the boat came closer. "What are you guys doing in the deep sea?" the driver asked us. "The Iceberg sank and we got stranded!" I explained. "Hop on!" the driver said. I'll bring you back to the island!"...

...Everyone cheered as they got on the boat and went back to the Dock. "Thanks again!" I said as I got off. "No problem, but be careful next time!" the driver replied as he drove away. I waddled home to feed my puffles. I had had enough adventure for one day. THE END...

...A long, long time ago five Viking penguin and Captain Rockhopper set sail in search of Aunt Arctic's missing shoes, which she has lost during her last trip across the world. The five penguins were Fonsi, the strongest one; Oso, the skillful one; Dogi, a fearless viking; Stiki, the bravest of all five ans Struden, the friendliest Viking penguin. The crew's biggest fear was that a fierce, legendary storm might catch them during their voyage. They sailed, sailed and sailed for three days in a row, but nothing happened. However, on the fourth day, the storm suddenly broke...
Club Penguin Books: Penguin Tales: Volume 3
...Neither the penguins nor their captain could do anything to stop it, and their boat sank. They were all very sad and frightened, except Struden. As soon as he fell into the water, he found the shoes! The crew were very excited and decided to swim back towards Club Penguin. On their way, Struden made another discovery that made him even happier than finding...

...Aunt Arctic's shoes. He found an oyster with a note written in octopus ink that read - "If your boat has sunk, do not swim, just stay afloat and wait." Struden told this story to his friends, but they would not believe it was true, until a Secret Agent turned up and rescued them. Struden was congratulated and remembered ever since. Aunt Arctic was very happy because she got her shoes back, but was even happier to know that they were all safe and sound. Aunt Arctic is such a good friend! THE END

...A huge party was taking place in Club Penguin. My friend Lola and I were playing Hydro Hopper, when suddenly our boat hit a rock and sank. We swam, and swam, and swam, until we reached a weird part of the island that we had never seen before. Everything was dark, empty and filled with creepy noises - a great place for Herbert to hide, I'd say! There we found a very peculiar penguin who wore even more peculiar clothes: they never got dirty! His name was Bob Grumi, and he told us about that place and how he ended up there. Bob was playing with his friends when he fell down a cliff. Lucky...
Club Penguin Books: Penguin Tales: Volume 3
...for him, he was rescued by Juby, a friendly parrot who helped him to survive in that unfriendly place. There we met a bunch of species of animals, all different shapes, sizes and colors, all over the place. We spent the rest of the day there and Bob taught us how to make a bed out of leaves, a shell necklace, and how to get water from a strange plant with funny leaves. After learning a lot about that place, Lola and I built a canoe to head back home, and Bob Grumi came along with his parrot, Juby. So if your ever meet a penguin wearing clothes that never got dirty and a parrot on his shoulder, it means you met Bob Grumi! THE END...

Club Penguin Books: Penguin Tales: Volume 3
...My name is Sara, and I'm going to tell you about the best party I've ever had in my igloo. Here's how it all started... I had been waiting for today for a long time. I had orgainzed a dance party at my igloo and invited all my friends. Everything was ready - there were bowls of snacks on the table, party banners and balloons everywhere, and plenty of music to dance to. The only thing that was missing was the crowd! I waited and waited, but still no one knocked at the door. I was alone with my puffles. I decided to go out and look for my friends. I finally found them surfing a the Cove. "Hey buddies, aren't you coming to my party?" I called out. "Sorry Sara, but we're really...
Club Penguin Books: Penguin Tales: Volume 3
...busy right now!" they yelled back. "Okay, never mind... See you later, then." I slowly walked back into the Town, dragging my flippers as I went, my head hanging low. I decided to head out to the Pizza Parlor. Maybe a nice hot fish pizza would cheer me up. As I walked in, I noticed that the place was deserted and the water was on his own. "Hi there, can I help you?" he asked. "I'll have a fish pizza with extra cheese, please." "Coming right away!"
Club Penguin Books: Penguin Tales: Volume 3
..."Hey, I'm having a party at my igloo. Do you want to come?" I asked. "Sorry, I'm too busy." "But there's no one here!" Err... I have plenty of orders." "Okay, never mind... Thanks for the pizza," I sighed. I walked aimlessly around the island for a while. The place was eerily quiet. I couldn't see any penguins around, but I could hear some music coming from the Night Club. I thought I'd check it out. The room was packed with penguins dancing! But as soon as they saw me, they all stopped! One of them came towards me and said, "Sorry, but you can't stay here. Err... You haven't got an All-Access Pass!" "But, I've never needed one...
Club Penguin Books: Penguin Tales: Volume 3
...to come in here before!" I protested. He just shook his head and said, "Sorry, but you can't stay." Feeling more deflated and lonely than ever, I turned around without a word and just went back to my igloo. I opened the door with a sigh and... the whole town was there! They all yelled, "SURPRISE!"...
Club Penguin Books: Penguin Tales: Volume 3
...After I'd recovered from the penguins in my igloo, they explained that they had wanted to surprise me, so they had ordered lots of pizza and had been secretly rehearsing their dance moves at the Night Club! Well, you know what? This was by far the best igloo dance party I ever had! THE END
My View
I love all of the excellent stories the Volume 3 of the Penguin Tales! I also like how all of the stories were created by penguins, these penguins are talented!
