Hello Penguins, Today it is Halloween! Every Year Halloween is celebrate on October 31st...

If your Trick-or-Treating tonight, remember to bring a torch and wrap up, as it'll be very cold. Remember to keep safe and have fun! and get lots of candy (don't eat too much). Anything can happen on Halloween!

I love Trick-or-Treating because you receive loads of sweets! It's so much fun! What are you dressing up as? Are you going Trick-or-Treating? How much candy did you get? What do you think of Halloween? Share us your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Remember to 'Fall' Back in Time

Hello Penguins, Today is October 28th, which marks the end of British Summer Time....

...It also marks when the clocks go back, every year the clocks go back one hour to gain one extra hour of daylight to allow children to get home from school safely. So, it's important that you put your clocks back one hour, which also means one more hour in bed. Note: Only put your clocks back if you live in the United Kingdom.

If you're out and about remember to bring a torch or a source of light. Are you going to turn back your clock one hour? Make sure to let us know! Share your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Spike Hike Reporting For Duty!

Hello Penguins, Today Spike Hike posted his first post on the Club Penguin Blog and here's what it says;
Hey Penguins!

Spike Hike here. My real name is Chris Heatherly, and as you may have heard last week, I'm stepping into Lane's big shoes. You probably don't know me, but I've been working and playing on Club Penguin for a long time!

I first met the Club Penguin Team in 2007 when I worked for Disney Toys. When I first came to Penguin, I fell in love with what the team was doing. Together we worked on the first Penguin toy line. Billybob and I got to launch the toys in the biggest penguin party ever in New York City! We had Club Penguin projected onto the Jumbotron so that kids from around the world could join the party.

As a dad, I've been playing Club Penguin with my three kids for years. My twins even had a Club Penguin birthday party and I dressed up as Herbert. Herbert had stolen the puffles and the kids had to throw "snowballs" at him and get him to drop the sack of puffles. The kids tackled me to the ground and pelted me with snowballs!

Lane and I became really good friends and talked a lot about his vision for Club Penguin. When he asked me to join Club Penguin it was a dream come true! For the last year and a half, I've been able to work on parties, penguin shorts and music videos. As a long time player and as a dad, Club Penguin is very special to me.

As Billybob said in his farewell post, one thing about Club Penguin will never change – it has always been about you guys and always will be.

Until next time… Waddle On!

-Club Penguin Team
Welcome Spike Hike! I can't wait to see you post more on the Club Penguin Blog. I love that you dressed up as Herbert and your children threw snowballs at you. If Lane trusts you, I trust you! What do you think of  Spike Hike? Share your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

This week's Field-Ops game is called "System Alert" The aim of the game is to Repair the system! by entering directions for the repair bot and lead it to the corrupted. Be precise - you can only send five set of commands. When you are ready to play the game click the "Engage" button.

Once you have matched the shapes you will get a medal and message from Gary...

The Message from Gary says;
Well done Agent! It looks like you found some ghosts up to no good in my great uncle's telescope. Hopefully once all of the bad ghosts are contained, things will go back to normal.

A Ghostly Interview...
Gariwald VIII has been studying ghosts for years... AS a ghost!

Want to Read More of this Feature Story? Look Below.
Gary the Gadget Guy interviewed his long lost relative for the Club Penguin Times: Gary: "Great uncle, where have you been?" Gariwald: "My word Gary! How you've grown! Last time I saw you, you were as short as a puffle!" "As it were, I've spent the last few decades studying ghosts. Did you know ghosts like to steal your right socks?" Gary: "Fascinating! But great uncle, how did you... *gulp* Turn INTO a ghost?" Gariwald: "Oh, that was thanks to my Ghostamatron 3000! The best way to study ghosts is to become one. Want to try it?" Gary: "No thank you. So, what's next?" Gariwald: "Well, I still have more work to do! But I would relish the chance to catch up. Let's go trick-or-treating!" Party-goers looking to meet Gariwald themselves should head over to the haunted mansion before October 31. Happy Halloween!
This week's Support Story is about the battle between ghosts and ghost catchers. It says;

Ghosts Vs. Catcher

By Aunt Arctic- When there's something incredibly unusual in you neighBOOrhood., who do you call? Ghost Catchers. that's who! Since Halloween began, teams of Ghost Catchers have been working tirelessly to defend trick-or-treaters from being BOOed! "It's a hard job. A scary  job." one Catcher explained. "But someone's gotta-LOOK OUT! CLASS 3 SPECTER! LET'S BAG AND TAG!" After a battle of epic proportions, the Catcher continued. "If you've got nerves of steel, we could use some help. Gariwald has all the equipment you need in his lab. You just gotta prove yourself by finding it." "Now if you'll excuse me, I think I hear screaming coming from the Cove..."

Here is what the front cover of the Yearbook looks like...

...here is what the contents page looks like...

To all the penguins that made our seventh year amazing-you ROCK! Flip through these pages and celebrate the non-stop excitement...

October 2011

We put on our party hats to celebrate 6 years of Club Penguin! Then it was time to Trick or Treat! We crept through the Dark Chamber and snuck around the island on a haunted hunt for Candy Ghosts.

November 2011

Elements collided in an awesome battle-Fire vs. Water! Together, we changed the weather! While Fire Ninjas lit up the sky, Water Ninjas summoned stormy rain clouds. Electric!

December 2011

Your generosity was inspiring! We protected endangered wildlife, provided medical care to kids, and built safe spaces like schools, libraries and playgrounds. Then we got into the holiday spirit with 12 Days of Gifts.

January 2012

When half the island sunk, we discovered an underwater city. We snorkeled passes mystical mermaids and fearsome sharks! Daring divers teamed up to navigate a watery maze.

February 2012

Fashion forward models owned the runway, judges gave rave reviews, bodyguards controlled the crowd and paparazzi captured all the action.

Rockhopper called us aboard the Migrator to embark on a pirate quest! We scavenged supplies from remote islands to help our Captain build a beacon.

March 2012

We swapped places with puffles! At the Puffle Play Zone we transformed to explore the island through the eyes of our furry pets. We dressed up in big puffle costumes. And gave our puffles awesome new hats!

April 2012

We went wacky in the Zany Dimension, and turned HUMONGOUS to teeny tiny in the zany tube. Everyone dressed up as boxes. Box party!

Then the Snow Forts transformed into an amazing Earth Day habitat!

May 2012

Huzzah! Fearless knights embarked on an epic journey to defeat the evil dragon, Scorn. And we were rewarded with a Magical Sky Kingdom!

June 2012

Heroes! Villains! Citizens! We chose our sides in the battle between good and evil. We suited up like Hawkeye, Iron Man and Black Widow.

Robbers robbed the bank. Cops made arrests. And Hulks SMASHED!

July 2012

Cadence kicked off the Ultimate Jam with the release of her first hit single-The Party Starts Now!

The Penguin Band rocked out on stage. And two guest star dancers showed up!

August 2012

Yar har! It was a fruit frenzy when Rockhopper arrived with tasty cargo and an ancient totem... that be cursed! It took everyone's efforts to satisfy the BIG BIG KAHUNA's appetite.

Then we smashed the rest of the fruit with out butts in Smoothie Smash!

September 2012

We raised the Big Top for The Fair! We played carnival games, chose prize cows, and cruised the island in out new bumper cars!
