Hello Penguins!

Earlier this month we announced a virtual coat drive to help support families in need across America. We asked you to send in drawings of penguins wearing coats.

We received thousands and thousands of pictures from all around the world! We're so inspired by all the time and effort you put into your drawings. You are amazing!

I'm happy to announce that Rockhopper will be appearing in New York City this Friday!! I'll also be there, and can't wait to meet some of you. Here's what you need to know:

• When: Friday December 2 8:00am EST
• Where: Good Morning America Studios - Times Square, New York
• What to bring: a real coat to donate to the Warm Coats Warm Hearts campaign

In other news... The first 300 people to donate a real coat at the event will get a Club Penguin plush toy prize!

I was hopping servers and I found yet another broken server.......

Card Jitsu Party is Here Now!

Hello Penguins!

 

We've officially launched the first ever Card-Jitsu Party! We're excited to see so many ninjas celebrating...

 

Have you discovered the big surprise for Fire and Water Ninjas yet? For the first time ever, ninjas can change the weather!! You just need 3 or more ninjas to dance outside. The more ninjas dancing, the more awesome it gets. Check out the action at the Snow Forts:

Club Penguin Server Sleet Error

Update: Server Sleet is back to normal, all items and membership was returned to all penguins.

Today, I logged onto Sleet and I found that there were blue penguins everywhere......

Everyone seemed to have no coins, no clothes and no membership. I advise all penguins not to go onto the Server Sleet until it's fixed. Report Back Here for any updates.

The Card Jitsu Party is here!

I recently logged onto Club Penguin to see it's been transformed into a Japaneese city......

Town

 The Town is hotting up, with hot decorations. I like how they've turned the Coffee Shop into a Tea Shop.

Plaza

The Plaza is drenching with brilliant decorations, I like how they've turned the Pizza Parlor into a Sushi Restaurant.

Dock

Wow! The dock looks like it's inside a volcano, I like the stepping stones I like to chase my buddies on these.

Beach

The Beach looks awesome, I love the bamboo deck chairs!

Forest

The Forest has been transformed into a Bamboo Forest, I love the bamboo and flowing rivers.

Cove

Wow the Cove looks so peaceful, I love the tea relaxing area.

Snow Forts

Wow This has to be the most decorated room, I like how you can access the Ninja Hideout.

Stadium

This room is so cool, I love the competitive game in this room. It's a great game to play with buddies.

Ninja Headquarters- Members Only

Wow this room is so awesome! I love the cushions under the shelters, I also like the the relaxing area on both sides!

Happy77 here. I just heard some exciting news from our team in the UK that I wanted to share with you.

Club Penguin is up for the Kids Vote at the Children's BAFTA Awards! That's a really huge deal in the UK, and we're honored to be nominated!

Every year the BAFTA gives kids in the UK the chance to vote for their favorite movie, video game, TV show and website. The Kids Vote is the only award to be voted for by the public, and Club Penguin is one of the lucky few that's been nominated under Websites!

It's so hard to choose since I like all items! But, my all time favorite would be the Box-Portal! It's totally AWESOME and I hope it'll be back on April 2012! Seriously, how cool is it to travel to another dimension!? And when minutes have look like: :30 or :00 and you're there, you get to see the orange puffle pop out of the box! It's sooo kooky and you get to meet Rookie there if you're lucky! Waddle on, Club Penguin! You rock!

Card-Jitsu Update

Today the Club Penguin Team made a new post about the upcoming Card Jitsu Party.......

Hello Penguins!

Since we've launched a new ninja game each year, many of you have been wondering when we will launch Card-Jitsu Snow.

The team is still working hard on creating a great Snow experience, but unfortunately it's not going to be ready for a while. We don't want to launch it until it's the best it can be. So, we've decided to do something different for ninjas this year, and we think you'll love it. There are some BIG surprises in store...

• We're releasing a huge new Card-Jitsu Party. For the very first time, we're decorating almost the whole island with a ninja look!
• There will be new decorations, new items, new Stamps and new rooms available only at the party!
• For the first time, penguins with free accounts will be able to play Card-Jitsu Fire and Water during the party!!
• We also have a BIG surprise for those who are able to earn their Fire Suit or Water Suit.

Reviewed by You: Happy Halloween!

Today Happy77 posted about the previous reviewed by you, that was about the creepiest puffle hat you could think of. Happy77 decided to pick one puffle hat from each language........

Happy77 here. Hope everyone's having a Happy Halloween! The team's been busy catching bugs and ghosts while munching on candy at the office today. ;)

Remember our last Reviewed by You blog, where Billybob asked you to describe the weirdest Halloween puffle hat you could think of? Well, we picked one comment from each language, and an artist drew all four of them!

On the English blog, Aguon1 had this idea:

My idea would be: a spider puffle hat. It would be brown and it would have the legs and the head on it. It would have the eyes on it the would be big and gloomy. It should also have a buggy mouth on it and have black stripes on the legs.

In French, Gopinoo had this clever idea:

For me, the spookiest puffle hat ever would be a hat in the shape of a jellyfish but with snakes instead of tentacles. Waddle on!

In Portuguese, Elvis524 left a suggestion that I thought was quite fabulous:

I guess the best Halloween hat would be something like a mountain with trees and the Living Sled on top!

In Spanish, Layla6765 made this amazingly creative suggestion:

The most terrifying puffle hat would be weird but creepy. It would be a mixture of a witch hat and a zombie hat with a unicorn or Pegasus horn to make it silly. The result would be a witch hat with gears and scars and a horn on the top. It would be funny to add stars to the horn.

You had so many wacky creative ideas! Thanks for all your fun suggestions, everyone. :)
