...the Clothes Shop is a room in Club Penguin, which penguins go to, to buy clothes from the latest edition of the Penguin Style catalog. As well as the Penguin Style catalog, penguins can also take a look at the latest edition of the Treasure Book. The Clothes Shop has been in Club Penguin since 2006, and used to be called The Gift Shop before it was changed in 2012. Throughout the history of Club Penguin, the Clothes Shop has been decorated for many parties and events. There was even an event in 2012 (The Fashion Show), in which the whole room was decorated, and was the center of the event. The Clothes Shop is also decorated for the current Muppets World Tour as a Museum which has priceless artifacts and jewels in. Without the Clothes Shop, penguins would find it hard to buy things from the Penguin Style catalog and the Treasure Book, or even keep up with the fashion in Club Penguin...

ReplyDeleteGreat post, I love reading your blog - you take a unique style on posting. The Clothes Shop is awesome, you have the freedom to do so much, it's not just a matter of seeing the latest catalogue, you have play-ability all around.
There's a makeup area, a changing room which links to Penguin Style, and a catwalk! I never see anyone use the catwalk when actually it's a great place to roleplay. What it's missing is the interactivity like in the Prehistoric Party Clothes Shop, and more of a "Fashion Show-ey" place. Like the Fashion Show a couple of years ago, you have a designated get changed and get all pretty area, and a little tunnel to the catwalk. I loved that "party", and think Club Penguin should either renovate the Clothes Shop or do it again but with updated Graphics.
The Clothes Shop can be a great place to play - it just needs the right promotion, heck let Cadence give "messages" as a guide to using the Clothes Shop, do it to all rooms!
